The world isn't just made up of ponies. The Saddle Arabia, The Zebra Homeland, The Mountians of the Griffins. All of theses places are protected just as much as Equestria is. It is all thanks to the union pact made by their countries. A select few chosen to defend againts those who might disrupt the harmony of the nations. Griffins, dragons, ponies, horses...It matters not who you are, if you are skilled enough then you might be chosen.
