Her voice actor didn't move away until some time after "The Cutie Pox" -- in which Twist gets a single line. And even her being unavailable for voice work doesn't change the fact that AB jealously cut ties with Twist all the way back in "Call of the Cutie", just 'cause Twist got her cutie mark first.

4961663 I honestly don't know. I would love it if they could have an episode showing that Apple Bloom did NOT dump Twist just because she got her cutie mark, even if it was just for a scene or two.

I was under the impression Twist wasn't that close a friend anyhow, just someone who happened to be in the same class as her. She didn't do that much to stick up for Apple Bloom or make her feel better, they don't have much in common...

Speaking from experience, Twist struck me as the sort of pony AB just hung out with, not a proper friend. Applejack didn't even know the girl's name, iirc.
