But Twilight, I didn't plan any rules.

It can be a boss, event monster (like for Halloween or Christmas), or just your run-of-the-mill mob. Just be sure to follow this format. The italicized words are there for further explanation, so you can delete them after.

NAME: Fidelitas

RACE: Feral Canine

MONSTERTYPE: regular mob

SPECIFIC ATTACKS: Howling Boon (Defence Buff to other nearby Fidelitas), and Loyal Call (Have other nearby Fidelitas, that aren't aggro already, attack group as well. (However, those new ones joined into the fight by this ability, can not use this ability.))

ATTACK PATTERNS: Aggro on Sight. Attack in Groups of 3-5, When you aggro one 2-4 others nearby also aggro you. They mostly rush and attack relentlessly until there are 2 of them left, at which they will both try to use Loyal Call, and the nearly joined Fidelitas will use Howling Boon. When down to one after using Loyal Call, it will try to run away.

BACKGROUND: Wolves found deep into deadly forests, forced to always work as a pack to survive so are never alone.

APPEARANCE: Feral wolf about half as tall as a pony.

WEAKNESS: They are best in groups, so weak when fighting alone. They are also melee only animals, so range can pick them off before they get to the main group. Also being of the forest and a wild beast, they don't like Fire.

NAME: Shadow Deer

MONSTERTYPE: Event (During winter season)

RACE: CORRUPT ANIMAL

SPECIFIC ATTACK: Shadow Spiral (Spins like a drill and charges at enimies, antlers first. Starts to use when health is at 45%)

ATTACK PATTERN: They fly around until they see enemies (which is everyone), then divebomb them. Once on the ground, they start clipping the enemy with speedy dashes. After 6 or 7 dashes, they go back in the air and repeat.

BACKGROUND: These are santa hooves reindeer turned evil. In the snowy planes the countless reindeer play, they are corrupted by dark lingering magic that belonged to King Sombra. Because of this, they have also become a force to be reckon with. If one is defeated, then that reindeer is released from the dark magic's hold. If a player defeats 8 of these shadowdeer, they recieve a high quality prize. (such as ice sword or a staff of snowstorm). If a group goes after one shadowdeer, then the player that gets the final blow is rewarded that kill (everyone still gets the experience points)

APPERANCE: Reindeer. 6ft tall. Black coat with dark blue collars. Sharp teeth with green eyes. 6in red, sharp, crystal antlers. Long black tail.

WEAKNESSES: Even though they are huge and strong, they have two big weaknesses. One is they are sensetive to sound, make a loud enough noise close to them and they will be stun for 10 seconds. Next are the crystal antlers, stong but also fragile. If somepony is able to cut or smash them, usually takes 4 or 5 strong attacks, the antlers won't grow back and the shadow deer loses some strength.

NAME: Exile

RACE: Retilian

MONSTERTYPE: Boss

SPECIAL ATTACKS: A high vertical jump, followed by a downward slash from his great sword.

ATTACK PATTERNS: Exile's movements are predictable and slow, but very deadly and quite accurate. Normal Blocking is nearly useless, so try dodging his swings! He will walk towards you, due to his plated armor slowing him down, but he will do his occasional Jump, Downward Swing to close the gap surprisingly fast.

WEAKNESS: Exile's tough scales are resistant to fire as dragon scales, and with his cursed armor, that just adds more resistance, and additional protection against poison, so time damage effects wont necessarily work. On the other hoof, one can slow Exile even more with proper spells, especially in ice related forms. Slow him down enough, and you might just freeze him in mid swing!

APPEARANCE: Exile is like a walking crocodile, equipped with strange, dark blue twisted armor on his upper body, and his thighs, along with a similar helm to go with his set, covering the top half of his entire head, even his eyes, yet he still knows where you are.

BACKGROUND: Exile, his name alone explains most of who he is. He was banned from his own, backwater dump village, Kha' Dok, deep within the Hollowing Swamps, stripped of everything he has, name, rank, home, given rags for cloths, a broken short sword, and a new title that will be sure he is known as a shame to his kind, Exile. Many a year has passed since his banishment, he has grown relentless, ruthless, and grim-dark. He no longer has rags, but strange, twisted plated armor, rumored to be forever bound to his own scales as a curse for even wearing it, and for his broken sword, calling it broken would be calling a millionaire poor, and calling it a sword would be likewise. It is now a long great sword of mystic powers that have unknown properties... With his new found power in his claws, he ventured back to Kha' Dok, and took his revenge on every living thing there. There skeletons became his throne, the village became his territory alone. It has been so long, that Exile seems just another legend, until an unfortunate adventurer stumbled upon his ancient domain, and was brutally killed, in such manner, that his cries of agony were heard for miles past miles. Is Exile really an urban legend? Who will ever dare go into the swamps. Will they ever come back to tell their tale?

NAME: Smudge

RACE: Ooze

MONSTERTYPE: Regular Mob

SPECIFIC ATTACKS:
Absorb Energy- Whenever an attack would deal energy-based damage, a Smudge instead heals itself by that amount of damage.
Catch Weapon- Whenever a Smudge is hit with a physical weapon, such as a sword, the wielder of that weapon must succeed on a Strength check to be able to pull their weapon out of the Smudge's sticky body.
Soporific Ooze- Any creature that makes physical contact with a Smudge is subject to a powerful sedative, which renders the subject dazed and confused for several hours after contact. There is a fort save allowed for complete resistance.
Mirror Move- Whenever an attack is used against a Smudge, it can choose to gain that ability for its own use. A Smudge can only have a maximum of 4 abilities copied at any given time; in order to copy a new power, a Smudge must discard another one.
Swallow Whole- A Smudge has the capability to engulf an enemy in its body; the target is allowed a chance to dodge or otherwise avoid the grapple attempt, and if it fails is engulfed. While engulfed, a creature suffers the effects of Soporific Ooze with a penalty to resist it, and they suffer a moderate amount of acid damage from the Smudge's digestive juices.
Death Throes- Whenever a Smudge would be dealt enough damage to kill it, it explodes in a wide-radius burst that deals out the effects of any moves it has copied to anyone in the area, as well as subjecting them to its Soporific Ooze.

ATTACK PATTERNS: Smudges prefer to attack in groups, ususally between 5 and 8 in a pack. They like to swarm their foes and surround them, engaging in close-quarters combat to maximize the effects of their Swallow Whole, Death Throes, Soporific Ooze, and any copied abilities they may have.

BACKGROUND: Amongst the tales of adventurers, there are many who speak of terrors deep below the surface; few are so feared as the Smudge. These pony-sized, slate gray oozes lurk only in the deepest, most dangerous underground caverns and dungeons. They form small packs called "Gutters" when hunting, and they will hunt anything that moves. Their intelligence is somewhat limited, akin to that of a a school-age foal, but they are well-versed in swarm tactics and in combat will easily overrun any prey that isn't watching its steps. Though it is not well known, there is one thing that Smudges fear, and will recoil from if exposed to; warm, melted milk chocolate. What few know of this weakness speculate that they may have had some now-extinct predator with a similar form to the chocolate in the distant past.

Name: Screamer Spirit
Race: pony ghost
MONSTERTYPE: regular mob
SPECIFIC ATTACKS: Silent scream (Her mouth opens and any predators take damage sonic type any metal or stone items are damaged) banshee blast (anything nearby are thrown backwords by the force of the yell and anything that can hear takes sonic damage)
ATTACK PATTERNS: Evasion is the main tactic floating around the field unleashing silent screams, generally avoids direct confrontation and will use banshee blast to put some space between her and her opponents
BACKGROUND: a ghost that is generally a murder victim that died screaming. They continue to look for their killer in the afterlife so that they can cause the killers themselves to die screaming as well.

NAME: Gigazon
RACE: Grand Dragon(Sun Dragon)
MONSTERTYPE: Boss
SPECIFIC ATTACKS: Sun Fall (Tremendous heat blast. Rocks melt under it's heat.), Sky Assault (Takes pony into air, tosses them, and proceeds to spam attacks before finishing up with a strike that sends them into the ground.), Ancient Fury (Gains attack and Special Attack boost for a time, best represented with fire like pattern over his scales.), Spike Cannon (Spines launch from back and do AoE damage in a 3 meter circle.)
ATTACK PATTERNS: Gigazon attacks from the sky, roaming the realm searching for battles. He strikes first, staying on the ground and doing combat, absorbing average damage. He will retreat into the sky and fight with fire once health drops below 25%, and will regen because he is a dragon. He also mixes up special moves at times and launches off a furious assault when he is about to die, tending to lead him to victory.
BACKGROUND: Gigazon. Born of the Sun. An ancient dragon from a time even before the Princesses, he roams EE looking for new prey and worthy challenges. He collects no hoard like all other dragons. He stand 30 feet tall with a wing span of 45 feet. His roar is an echo of his once proud race, calling out for vengeance of some past atrocity done to his kind. He is at level 100, which is above level cap, but WoW does that all the time. To be under his shadow is to know that death has come for you. (Some nicknames are the Solar Fury, The Ancient, and The Red End.)

Name: Harvester
Species: Humanoid Spirit.
Type: Boss/Event (All Hallows Eve)
Special Attacks: Resurrection, The Harvester brings the souls of the unrested from the area giving life to any nearby corpse producing a low to medium level skeleton of various race. Hooked blade, The Harvester's deadly blade has strange meat kooks looped through the back side. When his opponent is low on health he uses this back side to temporarily heal himself and use their finished skeleton as a range weapon. The Fold, The Harvester has a strange ribbon wrapped around his torso looking like strange bandages. When he is low on health (10%) he the bandages rip open revealing a large gash with which he absorbs any loose soul around him restoring his health to 75%. However as it is the wound that killed him he takes damage directed at it at 3X normal amount and is weak to all Strength and lightning based attacks.
Attack pattern: Will generally stay out of the bulk of any fight mostly relying on and nearby skeletons or summoning more when he runs low. When it is necessary he will attack at medium range with stunning/weakening spells before rushing in for devastating swings with his blade.
Appearance: A tall shadow covered humanoid. His blade hilt pokes over the top of his left sholder and his right hand pulses with dark energy.
Item Drop: Halloween related gear at about 50% chance, Harvester's Blade 90% chance, The Fold 50% chance.
Bio: The Harvester is an undead creature of intense power that crosses over to the living realm during the week when the barrier is weaker than normal. He searches for the strongest souls to fuel himself enough to regain his lost life. He generally never strays into heavily populated areas or too far from a site of heavy corpses. Despite his plan he knows it will not work but he still desperately try's to achieve this state anyway.

Resistance: Spells and Strength based attacks.
Weakness: Fire and Holy magic.

NAME: Nightmare
RACE: Ethereal
MONSTERTYPE: High-Level Monster
SPECIFIC ATTACKS: Essence drain, drains the life of any living thing they come into contact with.
APPEARANCE: Nightmares appear as ponies made of pure shadow. Solid black in colour and
ATTACK PATTERNS: Nightmares can phase through any physical objects and thus can only be damaged by attacks of magical nature. Nightmares can pull the essence of life from anything they touch killing any part of the body they touch. Nightmares will often attack from walls or the floor gaining the element of surprise from their ability to phase through solid materials.
WEAKNESSES: Light magic has been known to be the bane of Nightmares. Nightmares tend to avoid bright lights and keep to the shadows because of this.
BACKGROUND: Nightmares are vile phantasms of beyond the badlands (or whatever the giant desert which is the badlands in present time is referred to in the game's era). They are a rare sight but if one were to approach a small town, it can create a lot of devastation. While it is very unlikely to see a
Nightmare within the borders of Equestria, they can be very common in the far reaches of the world.

There are several theories of the origin of Nightmares, some say they are remnants of Discord's era while others say they are manifestations of all of the evil within ponykind, some say they are just the souls of ponies past who are forced to haunt the world of the living. While no theory has been proven, one fact is certain, Nightmares are incredibly dangerous and if ponies do not exercise caution around them they can very easily find themselves at the closest spawn.

NAME: The Forgotten

RACE: Voidling (Shape is that of a pony or it can change its race appearance to anything Ex. can go to from being a pony to a gryphon) (It's appearance is a navy blue that is almost black with glowing red eyes in each form)

MONSTER TYPE: Rare (High level elite)

SPECIFIC ATTACKS: Insanity (causes the player to suffer nightmares beyond their imagination)

ATTACK PATTERNS: Pony form: In its pony shape it focus's on using it's arcane arts so it becomes a unicorn
gryphon form: Switches its style to an assassin type attacks due to the extreme speeds and stealth
Minotaur form: Switches to a more warrior like attack pattern causing this form to deal the most damage

BACKGROUND: The Forgotten is said to gain it's powers of the lost souls of ponies and others alike. It spends most of its time in the Void where it gains its strength and is where he is hardest to kill. The Forgotten is said to appear on Holiday's but on rare occasions beside Nightmare Night. There is said to be one way to lure The Forgotten out of the Void by collecting the essence of High Level Monster's and reaching the peak of a mountain on a full moon. Due to its tough summoning is believed to drop three of the following.
1. Star Swirl the Bearded's staff and cloak
2. The Lunar Assassin's Armor
3. The Axe of the Void

Resistance: In its unicorn form it takes little damage against magic
Weakness: Holy weapons (A paladin is said to deal extreme damage against The Forgotten)

NAME: Creeping Moss
RACE: Plant
MONSTER TYPE: Common
APPEARANCE: It's a moss, that can move!
SPECIFIC ATTACKS: Engulf, immobilizes a player by completely covering them and slowly suffocating them to death. The player is immobilized and cannot cast spells or attack when engulfed.
ATTACK PATTERNS: Will cover walls of abandoned buildings or a forest floor, blends in with common non-lethal lichen surrounding it and attempts to attack players who are either alone or in small groups.
WEAKNESSES: Fire! Plants burn easily! Fire attacks and deadly to almost any plant, (most are flammable) and it commonly takes only a spark to start a raging fire that will kill any plants in the vicinity.
BACKGROUND: Native to forests all over Equestria Creeping moss is a common monster that can be deadly to any adventurers traveling alone, once this moss gets a hold of you, it never lets go. So make sure you always travel with a buddy (or five!) when traveling through forests.

Name: Sharoahs

Species: Like an Egyptian pharoah, except with a shark head

Monstertype: High-level monster

Specific attacks: Bite, spells

Attack pattern: When attacked/disturbed, at a distance will cast spells (any kind you want), but will claw/bite when close

Bio: In ancient times, during the time of the Egyptians (or pony equivalent), pharoahs were laid to rest with spells cast on them for when invaders attack, they will defend their treasures. They move medium speed, like a pony walking, but make up for their slowness with durability. They're usually wrapped from neck to to with linen wrappings, but their skin is a sandy yellow. They are natives to deserts and other dry places.

Weaknesses: Due to being dry, their weakness is fire.

Name: Lesser Undead

Race:Pony/Griffion/Donkey/ect

Monster type:Regular mob

Appearance:The undead take on the appearance of a rotting corpse of any sentient and common sometimes wearing damaged and poor quality armor.

Specific attacks:The lesser undead crys out alerting (aggro) any other similar mob if any and boosts its own and those alerted's attack and defense slightly

Attack patterns: The lesser undead moves towards the enemy blindly attacking and chasing them. In rare cases they may carry a shield or any close combat weapon. They are very durable but slow and only attack weakly causing little to a moderate amount of damage to a player with no armor. Their strength is in numbers often being in groups or 4-7.

Background: The lesser undead are usually created by inexperienced necromancers or where a small amount of evil magic is. They are usually former citizens and guards but some have been known to be knights and adventurers. They lack any form of intelligence, sentience, or self preservation only leaving a walking shell meant for nothing more than to be mindless drones used for violent purposes. For unknown reasons some have kept the experience they have had in their past life using some weapons effectively.

Weaknesses: They are weak to anything that heals including healing spells, and healing potions. The undead are also weak to any fire related weapons and spells being strangely flammable. They tend to dislike the light their attack and defense being decreased while in any bright light.

(Note: What's this?! Another one of my terrible and generic ideas?!?!)

NAME:Deygoth
RACE: Reptilian Hydra serpent.
MONSTER TYPE: Boss/ High level
SPECIFIC ATTACKS: Capable of firing a beam of magic from its mouth (AoE). as well as biting and swinging its tail..
ATTACK PATTERNS: It will attempt to close in on its target where its magical beam will be more effective, but is capable of burrowing away if there are too many enemies present.
BACKGROUND: A foul creature that tends to dwell in cave systems around Equestria, these solitary beasts are essentially dragons that lost their wings forgoing the flight for the ability to better. Adapted to the subterranean environment they are blind, but posses a superior sense of hearing and smell as a result. They like there dragon cousins are highly aggressive when their territory is encroached upon.

APPEARANCE: Massive and again like their dragon cousins poses a varying color pallet but their defining features are their lack of eyes and their more pointed bodies (Picture a snake/ dragon hybrid.)

WEAKNESS: As hearing is their natural strength it would go without saying that to much noise over a long period will cause it to become confused and with enough noise and stimuli it will simply flee. (for the most part no one has tried to kill one but many know how to scare them away.)

Name: Lurker

Race: Cave Spider

Appearance: A red-eyed, colt-sized spider

Type: common mob or minion (Summonable)

Specific attacks: Web-trap; the lurker shoots a web at the player, slowing him/her down up to 50% of the regular mobility speed.

Attack patterns: Usually attack in groups from 10 to 20 individuals, and what they lack in HP they have it in strength by numbers. They only use their venomous fangs as melee attacks. When players try to flee from battle, the lurker closest to the player will shoot a web-trap at him/her, then attacking the slowed prey.

Weakness(es): Fire, fire, and moar fire

Background: The lurkers are a well-know cave spider colony in the undergrounds of the lower mountainous regions, and they behave like hornets if their home is disturbed. It is said that in their caverns there are expensive and rare gems and treasure, although it has never been confirmed.

It is known that there is a spell capable of calling a small group of this creatures and make do the summoner's will, but most players don't like to use it because the under-leveled spiders get mowed down too easily.

These bosses are part of an expansion I'm going to suggest.

Name: King Animus
Race: Kirin (Mammalian/Reptilian. Unicorn/Dragon hybrid)
Monster-Type: Boss
Specific Attacks:
Soul Fire: Animus breathes white flames that deal spirit damage in a cone shaped AoE in front of him. The fire drains MP and has a chance to leave a spirit damage DoT.
Terra Blaster: Animus gathers energy from the earth and fires a beam of energy at the targets, the beam can penetrate targets and deals non elemental damage to anything with a 10 foot cylinder of the beam. Getting hit by terra blaster causes the target to become rooted and they take 25% more damage.
Earth's Gift: Animus draws life force from the planet, restoring some of his health.
Aether Claws: Creates massive energy claws over his claws and unleashes a flurry of rapid melee strikes on targets. Deals heavy magic damage to all enemies in a 45 degree cone up to 3 meters. knocks down enemies, and has a chance of applying either burn, electrocute, or frost.
Dragon Hide: The draconic nature in Animus blood makes his coat and skin as durable as dragon scales. Provides heavy damage resistance and magic resistance.
Maelstrom: Animus summons a massive tornado of wind and lightning to ravage enemies. Tornado draws enemies in and as long as its present players suffer -30% movement speed. players also have a chance of being struck by lightning within 20ft of the tornado.
Dispel: Animus is an adept mage, he can see spell matrices and destroy them, allowing him to remove buffs from enemies and debuffs from himself.
Force Palm: Animus strikes a foe with his palm and releases an explosion of magic meant to paralyze the nervous system on the unlucky enemy. Deals physical damage to target, then deal spirit damage to target and other within 10 feet of target. Has a chance of paralyzing the primary target.
Attack Pattern: Animus is lighting fast (like Kessler from InFamous) and will attack the players aggressively. He prefers to fight from mid-close range. If players group up he's likely to use Soul Fire or Maelstrom. He also has a tendency to try and anti air with Terra Blaster. He'll try and close the distance with his speed and beat on the party with Aether claws and Force Palm whenever possible. If a player is rooted or suffering from movement penalties, he'll focus on them. When his HP drops below 50% he'll began to periodically use Earth's Gift to keep his health up. When below 25% hp he starts to move faster and hit harder.
Weakness: Despite being corrupted, Animus is still very weak to dark elemental damage. His corruption also makes him weak to light elemental damage as well.
Appearance: A little larger than a diamond dog. White coat, green eyes, and unkempt mulberry mane. He wear's a white cloak with gold trim and his armored gauntlets on his claws.
Background:In the times of old, the Kirin where gods, spirits the earth that kept the natural balance. Once every thousand years, the corruption would raise to the surface and attempt to take its place on earth. It was up to the Kirin to repel the evil every coming. The young King Animus ruled over the Kirin's city and during his reign the darkness came. He was sick of watching his brethren fall to the darkness so he created a spell to take the darkness into himself and trap it within his city. Together with the support of his citizens he contained the darkness. Sadly, his entire city was cursed and retreated into the bowls of the earth for the place was now evil.

Neither the darkness, nor Animus have been heard from since. Well that is, until now.


Name:Queen Rias
Race: Hippogriff (Mammalian. Rias is half griffon half pegasus.)
Monster-Type: boss
Specific Attacks:
Raise Spectre Hoard: Summons an endless swarm of random spirits (scaled to the parties highest lvl player) to overtake the party.
Raise Horror Hoard: Summons and endless hoard of random ghouls, zombies, and undead abominations to overtake the party.
Summon Demon Hoard: Summons an endless hoard of high level demons to overtake the party.
Field of Corruption: Any player that dies during this fight will be rezzed as a summoned minion for Rias (if no one rezzes them before their corruption meter is filled).
Acid Rain: Rias summons rain clouds that drizzle highly corrosive chemicals on the party. Poisons and the party, deals continuous poison damage, corrodes weapons and slows movement.
Storm of End Times: Rias summons a huge storm supercell filled with swarms of flesh eating zombie crows over the entire battlefield. Vison is obstructed, and all of Rias' creatures become faster stronger and more aggressive. Chat becomes hard to hear attacks become randomized at random times.
Miasma a debilitating field of netherworld poison that drains mp, fatigues, and causes the party to cough at random intervals. Healing has the opposite effect on players suffering from the miasma.
Crimson Lightning A storm of blood red lighting peppers the party, everytime a party member is hit by the attack, Rias' summoned creatures get faster and stronger.
Attack Pattern: Rias likes to stay away from the party and summon creatures, then while the party is distracted swoop in and single them out in melee combat. If the party is killing her hoards quickly she will cast crimson lightning to help her pets. Otherwise she will periodically use miasma, SoET, and Acid Rain on the party.
Weakness: Rias is weak to Light and lightning element damage. Also keeping her MP down limits her options.
Appearance: Rias is a hippogriff (half pony/half griffon) She has the upper body and wings of a griffon, but the lower body (hooves and tail) of a pony. Her fur and feathers are an ashy blue color, and she has rose colored eyes, tail and a rose color V shaped marked on her chest. She wears a dark red scarf around her neck a single black pauldron on her left shoulder and her left arm is armored, ending in a black clawed gauntlet.
Background: Lord Animus' wife. The Hippogriffs origins are mostly unknown, all there is on the queen is that she and Animus met during the kings travels. Animus impressed her with his strength of will and she impressed him with her combat prowess. It is known that the two spent quite some time as friends before becoming lovers, but who pushed to deepen their relationship is a mystery. Rias ruled by Animus' side for hundreds of years and stood by his descion to sacrifice his entire race for the good of the world.

Name: Earth Avatar Animus and Lich Queen Rias
Race: Kirin Spirit and Undead Hippogriff
Monster-Type: Boss / Event (Optional boss, but required for 100% positive completion of their area).
Specific Attacks: Mostly the same as their previous versions.
Rias drops all of her summon abilities for:
Spirit Monger: Grabs a party member and drains their soul. Drains 30% of a party members HP and MP. Makes Rias faster and stronger.
Soul Scissors: Rias clamps down with large blades made of dark energy. Has a chance of cursing a party member and rooting them.
Vigor Mortis: Summons a copy of anyone on the battlefield.
Death Wing: Sends waves of dark energy from her wings. Deals dark damage, has a chance to blind the party.
Damnation: opens a portal to the netherworld that attempts to drawn in the party. anyone caught in the portal is exiled from the battle.
Animus has dropped Dragon Hide for:
Avatar of Earth: Which does almost the same thing, but grants higher resistances to fire, water, earth, lighting, wind, and ice damage. Makes his elemental, magic, and spirit damage higher.
Terra Blaster has been replaced with:
Terra's Fury: Which retains all of the same properties except now it can be used as a beam or as several rapid blasts.
In this form Animus gained:
Tectonic Shift: Animus stomps the ground causing an earthquake. Deals earth damage and causes the party to stumble.
Thunder Drop: Animus jumps at party member and slams into the ground with an explosion of electricity.
Inferno: Animus throws a small condensed ball of white hot fire at the party, which then explodes like a nuclear bomb.
Deep Freeze: Animus flash freezes the entire area dealing ice damage and inflicting frost on the party.
Light Bringer: Animus fires a beam of light from both of his palms. Deals light damage, knocks party members down, blinds, and debuffs their defenses by 25%.
Attack Pattern: Animus' attack pattern remains the same. The only difference is that he likes to set the party up for Rias' Spirit Monger attack by using Tectonic Shift. Rias now right's the party mostly at melee range and uses her other abilities to pester the party with status ailments and DoTs.
Same Weaknesses as prior incarnations
Appearances: Animus now wears a set of shining plate mail with a white mini cape. Rias now wears a tattered black cloak and hides her face. She still has her armored gauntlet but its a little rusted now.
Background: After both Rias and Animus are defeated, the threat of darkness is gone forever. However, if the player chooses so they may return to Animus and Rias' throne room where they can will find the two in different outfits. They will tell the player that the darkness can be destroyed permanently if he and Rias are killed, but he has no desire to die since his people are all corrupted and the darkness can no longer spread. At this point the player can choose to attack, which will make them hostile and start this boss fight, or the player can leave.

If the player defeats Animus and Rias the city is purified, the city becomes a new hub and kirins return to the land.

NAME: Trashy
RACE: Animate object
APPEARANCE: A Trash Can with multiple arms and no legs. Has two metal eyes that disappear when it conceals itself.
MONSTER TYPE: Rare mob
UNIQUE ABILITY: Absorbs any item and uses it as a weapon
SPECIFIC ATTACKS: Depends on what it absorbs. A sword? grows an arm with the sword attached to it. A hammer? same thing. Some sort of cannon or gun? Again, same thing.
If it absorbs a scroll with a spell on it, it will try to use it, regardless of what it does. Sometimes they even absorb attacks, but only if they are a high enough level (Level 15 or so)
ATTACK PATTERNS: With melee weapons, it will blindly rush forward and attack. With ranged weapons, it will fire a barrage of shots at foes, regardless of what those shots are or what they do. A combination of both, I'm not too sure. It will either keep its distance and fire the ranged and defend with the melee, or it will simply go on a rampage.
Spell scrolls are a different matter. Depending on the scroll I mean. Shield spells make it stronger. Attack spells could potentially help it, or harm it. Unique spells are a complete mystery.
WEAKNESSES: To defeat it, you have to do one of two things.
1. Kill it fast before it absorbs too many weapons/scrolls.
2. Get it to "Flip its lid" and attack its insides. It may be a metal beast with a couple of weaponized arms, but it can't defend the inside of itself.
BACKGROUND: Ponies throw away a lot of strange junk sometimes. From perfectly good weapons, to old containers with a tiny bit of potion left in them. It is said that a mix of such potions somehow brought the trash cans to life. Another theory is that an arcane wizard wanted to create a personal servant, but the spell went horribly wrong. Whatever the case, Trashy's will typically appear in various villages from time to time. They conceal themselves as normal trashcans, waiting for a player or NPC adventurer to throw away a broken weapon or useless scroll. Once they absorb enough "Trash Weapons" and/or "Useless Scrolls" it will reveal itself and attack.
ITEM DROPS: If defeated, they usually drop most, or some, of its absorbed weapons. If the weapon/spell was broken/used during the fight, then it won't reappear. Normal items, such as clothes and item buffers, sometimes appear as well. IF you're really lucky, it can drop a Rare or Ultra Rare item, even if it didn't absorb it. This only happens on a 1/100 chance for Rare and a 1/10,000 chance for an Ultra Rare.

Oh god the Dungeonmaster in me really kind of wants to do this except I'm saving my own designs for my own story which I'm totally going to work on tonight because I'm finished with finals not that I don't like to share or anything but I really want to save them for myself until I make enough monsters and bosses for my story.

Don't let my English teacher see that sentence...

Name: Sneaky Slime

Race: Is 'slime' a race?

Enemy type: A slightly rare normal enemy. Are a bit of a secret to everyone because of their sneakiness.

Appearance: It's a slime,ok? It can morph to resemble other objects, but will still have it's own colour. Oh and depending on their habitat they come in different colours.

Special attack: Morph; Can transform to resemble inanimate objects, stil keeping their original color though.

Attack patterns: Being natural predators, they sneak behind sole creatures, ambushing them, capturing them, and dealing slow 'digesting'-damage.

Weakness(es) Being made of slime, cannot be killed by normal means. As in slicing it with a sword will just cause it to pass through it's body harmlessly. Is weak to magic, and when frozen by ice attack becomes weak against heavy hitting weapons such as hammers and just blunt force

Background: No-one really has seen theese things as they are naturally sneaky. They are normally still pretty calm, but when hungry or aggravated, will attack with no doubt.

Name: Queen Lurker

Race: Cave spider

Type: Boss

Appearance: A spider as big as three ponies

Specific attack(s):
-The Hanger; AoE attack, where the queen traps in web all the players unlucky enough to be in the area and hangs them on the roof. This attack slowly grinds the player's health, making it a rather uncomfortable moment.
-Venom Spit; As the title says, the queen launches a small blob of venom to a player, this attack has splash damage.
-Pheromone Call; The queen uses pheromones to call three groups of standard lurkers.

Attack pattern(s): Queen Lurker stays away from the attackers and uses long-range attacks (The Hanger, Venom Spit, or just throw rocks or random objects) and her minions most of the time. Her minions will be used as a distraction as she prepares "The Hanger" or "Venom Spit" as a surprise attack. Something peculiar is that even with her weight and size, Queen Lurker can move pretty fast and go undetected if not given the right attention. And whenever she sees an opportunity to strike at melee damage, she won't hesitate to use it. If severely damaged, she will go behind rocks or other objects for protection.

Weakness(es): As the regular lurkers, the queen is highly damaged by fire attacks. Another method to heavily damage her is to cripple her legs, by doing so you can slow her down or even immobilize her. Using both at the same time can completely annihilate Queen Lurker in a short amount of time.

Background: Every colony needs to have a queen, and the lurkers aren't a exception. Queen Lurker peacefully sleeps in her private chamber, waking up only to eat and lay eggs. Getting there isn't easy at all. being in the lowest level of the whole underground structure, but if you were to be able to get there, oh boy, be ready for an intense fight. Not only you will fight the queen, but you will go agains the whole colony in one swing.

It is only known of one pony that went in and out of that room alive, and if you are able to find him, you may get advice in getting into the royal chamber.

NAME: Exterminatore Seculorum
RACE: Dragon
MONSTERTYPE: High level boss (about 70lvl)
APPEARENCE:
SPECIFIC ATTACKS: Dragon Summon - Any dragons in a radius of 10km are under his control, cooldown 600 seconds. Fine Saeculi - -90% attack resistance, -50% of Max HP, makes himself a living bomb, if not killed during a minute, self detonates killing every enemy.
ATTACK PATTERNS: Attacks closest enemy, often rushes.
WEAKNESSES: Dragon attacks.
BACKGROUND: Travels from planet to planet, destroying them, when he seen the world of Equestrian Earth, he chose to not destroy it, and settle on it instead. The rest is up to you :pinkiehappy:

NAME: Lesser Demon

RACE: Demon

MONSTERTYPE: regular mob

APPEARENCE: None are the same although they have often horns on their head, massive talons and tough leathery wings. They are a little bit bigger then Celestia when standing completely up.

SPECIFIC ATTACKS: Slash: The lesser demon uses one of his talons to cut the flesh of his enemy( maybe this can cause bleed?), Crush: The lesser demon flies up into the sky and comes down on the enemy with high speed. Intimidation: The lesser demon spreads his wings and screams with a voice that makes even the most experienced warriors shudder in fear (Maybe can cause fear?)

ATTACK PATTERNS: they rush to their enemy before ripping them apart with their talons or teeth.

WEAKNESSES: Being made out of pure dark energy and fire, lesser demons can't handle ice and water attacks very well although holy attacks are the most effective against them.

BACKGROUND: There's not much known about them, some ponies suggest they have escaped Tartarus, others say they are summond by cultists. There's one thing sure though, these demons are a mighty foe for even the most experienced warriors. Lesser Demon often can be found at ancient ruins or places where the dark powers are strong.

NAME: Sparky (Base name. Can be renamed. My character also has one. Her name is Blaze.)

RACE: Blue Phoenix

MONSTERTYPE: Quest Reward, Summonable Ally Pet (Must have at least level 2 fire mastery.)

APPEARENCE: A blue female Phoenix that will aid the player.

SPECIFIC ATTACKS: Blue Phoenix Fire: Summons blue flames from nothingness that removes the Entrapment of Freeze status effects up to level 3. Boiling Body: Summoner is unable to be frozen or slowed by cold while Sparky is present. Phoenix Tears: Can heal any wound by crying. This ability cannot revive players and can only be used once every 10 minutes.

ATTACK PATTERNS: Sparky will stay on her summoner's shoulder unless she's needed. When in combat she will attack enemies by dive bombing them and slamming into them with her burning wings.

WEAKNESSES: Sparky is a bird of Fire so water and earth elemental attacks really put her down.

BACKGROUND: The ability to summon Sparky comes from the Blue Phoenix egg quest. In this quest players must locate a Blue Phoenix egg these can be found on any fire attribute monster after the quest is taken. After locating the egg you must hold it in your inventory for two hours. If you get into combat during this time you will see a bar of health for the egg. If the egg is broken than you must find a new one. After the timer has expired you must speak with Philharmonica queen of Phoenixes. She will grant you the her newest daughter which you are allowed to name. Sparky is just the programed name for those too lazy to get creative.

To accept the quest you must be a Magic Casting class with access to the Fire Magic tree and have learned at least two spells from it. Or have advanced one spell to the second stage.

(Is this okay? I was a bit shocked know one submitted a pet monster yet.)

NAME: Stalkers
RACE: Reptile/Bird
MONSTERTYPE: Event Mob
APPEARENCE: A cross Between a biped reptile and a Roc
SPECIFIC ATTACKS:
Rush Bait. Rush at the party for a heavy damage melee attack with a long cooldown if it manages to make it past the party the stalker directly on the other side (if there is one) will also use Bait Rush. possibly chaining the other stalkers as well.
Sonic Sound. A highpitched wail AOE that hits the area the Stalkers surround get's smaller/ Bigger / more dmg. as the group grows or shinks in size.
Wall Off. form a tight circle around the party (or a wall if they lack members) that blocks the party's line of slight to the boss they happyly take attacks while the boss regenerates.
ATTACK PATTERNS: Surround Melee Rush. / Surround Sonic Screech /Surround and block the party from attacking the boss letting it regenerate.
WEAKNESSES: none
BACKGROUND:Servants of the Supreme Vulcan (srsly who names these guys) they can be found in VERY large numbers on the path to the boss.

NAME: Supreme Vulcan
RACE: Reptile/Bird
MONSTERTYPE: Event Boss
APPEARENCE: A cross Between a biped reptile and a very LARGE Roc
SPECIFIC ATTACKS:
Summon Flock Summons 5-7 Stalkers
Lightning Chain. lash out with it's whip shocking one party member for heavy damage possible stun. has reach.
Bait Cleave. AOE rush attack uses this to get past the tanks and hit the casters/ranged.
Heavy Sound. Wails so loud the party not only takes high dmg but the area becomes very hard to move through almost like water.
ATTACK PATTERNS: Long distance staying back and letting it's minions deal with the party if it get's heavily damaged it will summon another flock and regenerate health. It uses Bait Cleave Right after the last of the Stalkers it summons falls so as to only hit the party and to catch them off guard.
WEAKNESSES: none
BACKGROUND: King of the jungle this nasty piece of work is the sole reason this area is so dangerous it could become a viable trade route if it was removed Alas this seems unlikely Very Strong Very Cunning it will take many heroes to fell this beast and it's army.

Race: Eldritch Spirit.

Monster type: random occurrence on any road.

Appearance: when transformed, it looks like a randomly generated player creature. It's true form is a horrifying spectral abomination.

Specific Attacks: Transform, transforms from disguise to true form, causes fear, only uses it when player is very close.
Claw, claws enemy, causes bleeding.
Disguise, turns into a new wounded player creature, used only if it wins an encounter with player, regenerates HP when this in on, the name tag is also removed

Fighting Style: waits until target player gets close, then transforms and constantly uses claw.

Weakness: all magic and holy damage

Bio: A cruel and evil monster that preys on the natural empathy of Equestria.

Name: Bait and Hunter

Race: symbiotic shapeshifter.

Monster Type: random occurrence at the doors of dungeon.

Appearance: Bait looks like any giant beast, the hunter is a shapeshifter but chooses to look like a low level rookie.

Specific Attacks: Bait: Throw, (used only on the Hunter) throws target through doors.
Lunge, leaps forward, knocking any in it's way down, and bites target.
Fade, (used only with low health) Bait fades away only to come back when enemies are gone.
Hunter: Bait, Summons Bait.
Backstab, backstabs target for a critical hit and cause bleeding.

Fighting Style: Bait will use throw on Hunter, Hunter will feign pain, when players try to fight Bait, hunter will backstab them.

Weakness: Ranged attacks for Hunter, fire for Bait.

Bio: This clever pair will kill any unsuspecting or kind hearted player that is unlucky enough to cross their path

RACE: bipedal skeleton
MONSTERTYPE: boss
APPEARENCE: large bipedal skeleton roughly 8ft in height.
SPECIFIC ATTACKS:ancients wrath: creature gains temp HP equal to half of total HP. All attacks gain status effects disease,curse, and rot. Necromancer's gift: creature screams to the heavens gains regenerates HP at a slow rate until HP is at 2/3 max. Also releases large blast of necrotic energy.
ATTACK PATTERNS: first sends waves of lesser undead creatures. Once they get to 1/5 of original number he enters the Frey. Has a tower shield, and a long sword. Upon entering battle uses ancients wrath. Uses lots of defence based tactics with quick strikes when able. If gets to less than half HP uses necromancer's gift.
WEAKNESSES: bludgeoning attacks gain extra effectiveness while slashing and piercing attacks are less effective. Light and healing attacks deal extra damage. Healed by necrotic energy.
BACKGROUND: last remnant of an ancient race of beings. Guardian of the ancient crypt of his emperor. Crypt is filled with many riches. Also whole place is infused with necrotic energy continuously healing undead, also dampens healing and light magic.

you! Yes you! I love this idea for the sheer irony that 'twere it to become true a white phoenix could then summon a blue phoenix. Makes me want to change the typing around to allow as such but 'alas it cannot be done.

Regular Mob / low level pet
APPEARENCE:
The body shape and head of a komodo dragon scaled skin over back and tops of fore and back legs, tail and mane of a lion.
SPECIFIC ATTACKS:
Pierce: Due to its extremely sharp teeth, the bites from this monster causes target to take a bleeding DoT that slows their movement speed for a few seconds and is refreshed upon every attack. DoT does not stack but timer is refreshed same as the slow.
ATTACK PATTERNS:
Travels in packs of 2-3 and have a low agro chance. Once angered will surround the target to maximize their Pierce passive.
WEAKNESSES:
Slow movement is easily dodge-able and underside is extremely weak to physical attacks whereas the top is so resistant it has a chance to “reflect” attacks.



BACKGROUND:
After the introduction of magic to this world, an element of randomness was added to the reproduction of most animals. The Scallion is the mix of an ancient dragon species and large wild cats. Taking both the attributes of strength and pride these creatures began to live in small packs made up of generally a pair of mates and their child prowling deserts or dry areas hunting passing by wildlife. It is said that due to the dragon blood that runs through this species Scallions can live forever but most are killed for their skins. Stories of a giant scallion are often passed around Desert taverns….

sleep deprivation is a good motivator. I have one more suggestion but it's getting pretty long and still not done.

NAME:
Beholder

RACE:
Fallen God

MONSTERTYPE:
High level Raid Boss / High level World Boss
Recommended: 10 – 20 players.

APPEARENCE:
Stands twice the height of its Squid body length (3 stories tall) and has 4 daddy long-leg like appendages for walking. At the end of each of the 20 tentacles in a hypnotizing eyeball. (Not easily seen but the ends of the “legs” have poisonous spines)((<-Normally only seen if being attack by such))

SPECIFIC ATTACKS:
Passive: 20/1 Peripheral: Unless behind fully blocking coverage, the Beholder will never miss. Even then, when behind cover it’s attacks have a 10% chance to still hit you.

Basic ability: SSS (soul spin stare): When in a group will cause target to fight allies. If solo will cause target to attack themselves.

Basic ability: Poison Spin: Bunches legs together while twisting to allow and bodily spin while extending legs to cause poisoning in targets at edge of the attack and swatting away those who were near it.
Basic ability: Darken the Night: Sprays a fine mist of ink that causes player accuracy to drop 20% and restrict sight to 20 feet in front of them. Sound is amplified when under this effect. (Will not use this often if lucky. IF.)

Basic ability: Drop down: Jumps and attaches to an available roof where it can use it’s other abilities or continue up with “drop down” where it flips and aims at a player with it’s legs focused to a point. If drop down misses all targets it will impale itself in the ground for 3 seconds before coming loose.

Special ability: Spinal Rupture: Digs under the ground and attacks in an attempt to impale it’s targets with it’s spined legs. Ignores 50% of your defense and has a 20% chance to instantly kill targets. Does not use until under 50% health and with 10 minutes in between each use.

Super ability: Paranoia: When under the effect of “Darken the Night” Beholder will have a chance (most likely will) to activate “Paranoia”. When paranoia comes under effect, 3 effects will occur, 1. Weak-willed (low will stat) players will become paralyzed for 3 seconds, 2. Pets become unable to attack until paranoia is finished, 3. Dumb (low intelligence stat) players will randomly go berserk (for better or worse). During paranoia Beholder will either jump from player to play or wall to wall (solo) ramming players as he passes by flying like a rocket. Paranoia can be cured by high-level status cleaners or by using a magic mirror.


ATTACK PATTERNS:

WEAKNESSES: Takes on elemental weakness and stats related to where and when you find him.

Day = positive resistance, negative stats
Night = negative resistance, positive stats
Desert = fire, wind
Swamp = water, earth
Plains = earth, wind
Island = fire, water


So say Desert, nighttime
-150% resistance from fire and wind, -100% from earth and water. -50% resistance from light and dark.
Health, mana, and self-regen effects are tripled, attack, defense, will, intelligence, and speed are doubled and special attacks happen more frequently. And Vice-versa ‘twere it elsewhere and in the daytime.

general strategy: This is meant to be a battle of attrition not power.

BACKGROUND:
Legends say that in the beginning of the creation of all that is, there were two beings to stand witness to its creation. One was The blind hand that guides, Monk and the other He who watches all, Beholder. Monk’s job was to guide the creatures that lived onto prosperity and good so as to allow them places in the afterlife. Where as Beholders job was to watch and correct their mistakes. The horror Beholder saw these beings cause sent him into a terrible rage ravaging worlds abound. Monk confronted his partner wondering why he would do such terrible things. Blind as he was he couldn’t conceive that those he guided would dare such a thing so when Beholder told his side he became furious the two locked into combat. Millennia the two battled jumping world to world ravaging each and every landscape to wasteland. Eventually in a moment of weakness Monk banished Beholder to the depths of a planet they were fighting on and sealed his fate. The power used to seal the beholder infused magic into the planet and the creatures on it. The seal would not hold forever Monk knew, but hoped that by the time it did break the planet would be able to defend itself. If not than it would see what true horrors would await after millennia of inprisonment….



Blind monk, no not lee sin. I would do one for "Monk" as I call him but he doesn't seem like he'd be an enemy of sorts.

NAME: Silent Slasher.
RACE: reptilian/mammal
TYPE: Boss/ high level
APPEARENCE: a chameleon the size of 2 bears that stands on two legs and has metal claws.
SPECIAL ATTACKS: Special move- Silent slash- turns invisible for about 30 seconds and attacks with its claws. 3 minute cool down
basic move- acid spit- AoE attack it spits acid harming you if it touches you and leaves a puddle of acid on the ground which you need to avoid.
basic move- maul flop- jumps in the air and tries to land on you to deal damage with its claws.
ATTACK PATTERN: will only get close to attack it is mostly a ranged attacker but will go towards you to use its special attack silent slash
LIVES: in jungles or highly wooded areas.
WEAKNESSES: it hates fire ice and lightning & does not attack without a reason which is usually trying to harm its children or attacking it which makes it angry
BACKGROUND: a lizard-bear creature possessed by an evil spirit known as Valos it is usually peaceful but attacks any living thing if they go near its eggs or children it is highly intelligent and can speak.

NAME: Mini Slasher
RACE: reptilian/mammal
TYPE: mob
APPEARENCE: the same as a Silent Slasher but smaller
ATTACKS: slash- tries to strike with its claws
LIVES: in jungles and or highly wooded areas
WEAKNESS: same as the Silent Slasher
BACKGROUND: eggs laid by a female Silent Slasher that have hatched and can speak but not as well as a Silent Slasher
HOW TO MAKE ONE YOUR PET: you must simply give it some fresh meat and some bugs or collect a silent slasher egg and wait for it to hatch.
GOOD PET FOR: assassins/rouges because it can turn invisible and gather information
ABILITIES: sneak- turns player invisible for a short time 1-3 minutes depending on Slashers level

APPEARANCE: A Hollowed [insert race].
SPECIFIC ATTACKS: a flurry attack, charge. A Lvl 20+ can use Rally to call forth lesser beings.
