I honestly don't know to be honest. If I had to take a guess is that they get wrecked like most season finales/openers and are fine after. I shudder to think if something worse comes to pass.

I can assure you they won't die, just as I can assure you we will never know the whereabouts of Scootaloo's parents.

As much as I like the “Scoota-orphan” trope (shameless self promotion), I’d also like to see Aunties Lofty and Holliday show up... (my six-year-old likes them, too.)
