Russia announced (partial) mobilization · 10:25am Sep 21st, 2022
In short, things are fucked up. The official documents regarding this don't legally define the partial aspect of it, so that means anyone can be legally conscripted to fight in Ukraine.
I wish I pushed more for studying abroad when I was just out of school, but, well, too late now. I don't know what to do, and the only hope is for massive protests to erupt because of this, but that's not something I expect to happen until conscripts start dying en masse.
I don't know what will happen in the future. Things are fucked up. I don't want to be a soldier, I don't want to kill Ukrainians.
I've nothing more to say.
Should dey draft you and ship you of to the front, you could always surrender at the first chance you get.
Butlets hope that it doesn't come that far.
Seriously if they force you to go to the war, sell all you can, make sure you take all money of your accounts and just ask for political Asylum afterwards. This thing is going to blow up big time sooner or later...

That's what I'll do. Ukraine already launched a help center for people who want to surrender. The only issue is that it requires calling a phone number, and I suspect Russian military will be quick to forbid having phones.
Because of how Putin is acting if a mass protest does pop up everyone will be shot dead
I dont know law much less law outside of my country. So only thing I can say is good luck
Everything is bad with the Russians with logistics . If they take away everyone, then the logistics will simply die. Therefore, for the time being, only those who are in reserve will be taken away. To follow the events, sit in the politics section on the joyreactor

When they send a soldier to combat they control what he takes with him, those going to the front will NOT be taking cash and most likely not phones either.

Guess he can than only give his stuff to his familie and wait out Putin?
I don't know how much you can see of Ukrainian information within Russia, but they are very good at taking Russian defectors and helping you. They know you are slaves forced to fight Putin's stupid war and they don't want to fight you. From what I have seen your best bet if you are conscripted is to break off from your group and go for a walk. The Ukrainians have been taking thousands of defectors for month now you will be safe with them. I hope you continue to be safe.
