Another good episode here, aside from one caveat.

Hey Jazz, I certainly hope that you give the creator of those designs you copied a cut of your hooficure profits. If not, that's pretty scummy.

Aside from that, what did you all think of the latest trailer for the first batch of Make Your Mark episodes?

Personally, it was pretty interesting. I haven't gone back to the MYM special to see if animation has improved at all, but the most important improvement has to be the writing. If that doesn't get better, this part of G5 will be sunk, at least for me. The special felt like a waste of 45 minutes and I haven't gone back to it.

Good to see Sprout is back. Even if he doesn't have a speaking role, it's just nice to see him at the very least.

And hologram Twilight / Tree of Harmony! (No telling which is is at this point.)

Uh, Sprout did have a line in the trailer, it was "uh oh."

It's always nice to see other characters especially the main five helping other ponies and I did saw the trailer of Make Your Mark the quality animation is still low but it's not too bad I mean who knows it may get better but I'm just wanted to give it with benefit with a doubt

I didn't get much from the trailers and the new alicorn villain still isn't that impressive.

I was kind of under the impression that it was implicitly a site or app that either had the designs be free to use or one that Jazz paid for.

Like it looked like the presentation that the hooficure library had was saying "Use these".

Definitely a good episode.

It would certainly be neat if we saw the ponies of Maretime Bay walking around with these styled hooficures after this episode. It's not going to happen, is it?

So when the hooficure designs are x-ed out like that, does that mean the site/library she's using only lets her copy them once, or is she sticking to the whole one design to each pony thing?

I'm sorry, but an episode dealing with hoof polish/paint just reminds me how spindly TYT made Sunny's hooves and legs.

Yeah, the MYM trailer was interesting, but my expectations aren't exactly high after the special. Not that I've actually seen the special, but I've seen and heard enough about it.

Those are not some random designs from the internet or something. Those are clearly a dedicated "hoof design pack". You buy it, you use it. No royalties.
It's similar to "sound sfx packs" that game devs buy, those are also without royalties.
