Question of the Week #68 · 2:29am Aug 24th, 2022
Hello everyone and welcome back to the question of the week.
So, recently I've been playing around with some of these AI image makers which have yielded some pretty outlandish/interesting results. I've also heard of some AI story generators as well (though it's against this site's rules to use them so don't).
Now my question is, have you ever either written a story or was inspired to write a story, based off of an image created by an AI (perhaps one you requested even)?
Well, thank you all for coming this week to my blog. Stay safe and have a great week.
I’ve tried to use AI for coverarts. That hasn’t really worked.
I had a little luck on artflow to get the idea of what a character looked like, but it took a couple rolls.
The only AI inspiring me are the ones in the stories, and that doesn't count.
I just use AI for doing textures and 2d artwork.
Got several megs of creepy looking stuff on my drive already.
Been doing some research on the subject.
Poly is an AI that can make textures for 3d work.
The bitmaps are small 256x256 but I can work with that.
Though I have seen some pretty bizarre stuff that might work for a story.
There's a huge range of AIs out there.
Midjourney does some nice stuff, but I can't seem to get it to work on discord.
Not a fan of the price either.
Disco diffusion might be better if I can get it to work.
I just collected some links on it.
Craion might be good, got a few good pictures from it.

I've seen videos about how to fix faces from AI pictures.
Maybe this could help you?
Maybe you could use AI pictures as a base, and then photoshop stuff on top.
