Light and Dark Road to Redemption Rewrites and Pony Guard future: · 5:00am Aug 13th, 2022
Hello everyone,
I just wanted to post this to let you all know of what's happening next now that the exciting Season 4 of the Pony Guard is finally done.
First off, I'll be taking off from writing for the rest of the summer so nothing new is to be expected for the rest of this month.
Second, earlier this year I did promise some rewrites of the sequel series to Light and Dark: Road to Redemption that should come sometime after Labor Day.
So far I have plans to rewrite Amending Fences, 28 Pranks Later, Shadow Play Part Two, Friendship University, and The Ending of the End. So that being if any of you can think of something that could use some rewriting feel free to comment down below and I'll take a look at in due time.
Next up is Rainbow Rocks which is the next part of the Pony Guard Series which should come out sometime in the Fall maybe co-current with the Road to Redemption Rewrites depending on how much free time I have by then.
And as for the Pony Guard Season 5, that'll be something to expect sometime in the winter somewhere around December or January * (again subject to change depending on how things go)
So in case any of you are thinking (When is it coming out?)
Please DO NOT ask me that again because this latest blog should tell you when to get an idea to expect something in that regard, so until further notice this is where things stand now.
Anyways, this is what to expect for the rest of the year, thanks for understanding, and for those that have any thoughts in regards to the upcoming rewrites, let me know in the comments.
Are you planning to do the Mlp movie as well? I was thinking that there should be parts that should be rewritten as well.

If your doing the rainbow rocks; maybe since that special didn't do it. Have Kion learn from the Dazzlings because unlike Twilight or Sunset; they never bother to question the Sirens for their actions, just only believe what was written about them

Like make Tempest Shadow wanting Kion instead of Twilight and Queen Novo should have more of a role then she did in the movie by helping fight against the Storm King in the final battle.

I have an idea for something you could do for the Amending Fences rewrite. There was a scene cut where Twilight talks to Celestia about giving up being the Princess of Friendship, feeling she doesn't deserve to call herself such a title after her failure to reconnect with Moondancer. If you go the TV Tropes Trivia page for this episode, you'll know what I'm talking about.
