Hey guys! So I got a lot of questions during my update that I wanted to go through, but first I have a poll for you. Which character do you some lore on out of the humans? You may pick three. I'll start with the top two. https://strawpoll.com/polls/ajnENjeQxgW
First and Most popular question
How do people react when Twilight tells them she's Final Stand's great (some odd number) granddaughter, and a direct lineage to?
Well, it depends. Some reactions are spoilers. Like Luna's and Celestia's for obvious reasons. However I can tell you how the other human girls would react.
It be like if someone now a days, in our world, said they were a direct descendant of Robin Hood. Some people would go 'Ok?Cool?' Other would ask for proof and some would have more questions. However no one is going to go tripping over themselves at the news. Humans either see Final Stand as a folk hero, or an old historic figure like Abraham Lincoln. Interesting but ultimately not useful. I'm sure some humans would be pretty interested, but they'd likely be historians.
However don't worry. I'll get to that more in the story!
Question 2 Did Twilight say goodbye to her friends at Crystal Prep?
She will in the next chapter, but I'm not sure if they were friends or not. They were more than acquaintances! However things were a bit... awkward and stilted. Given more time I'm sure Twilight would have made friends with them, but that was not meant to be here. We'll likely not hear from them too much once Twilight is out, but they'll be back in a big way! Plus they'll pop in and out of the story here and there in bewteen.
Question 3- If Twilights Family have been out of Underlot for two hundred years, why do they still have rats for special occasion dinners?
That was likely based on the throw away line about how some of Twilight's family likes rat meat during holiday dinners. The simple fact is that, after eating it for so long humans just got a taste for it. By now its seen as old people food. Meals more popular with the older generation. Like Liver and onions and stuff like that. A necessity for survival back in the day that people slowly evolved away from as food became plentiful. Some still want it though because its what their used to. Or out of from nostalgia.

I like the comparison to Robin Hood! It makes for a very interesting dynamic that I can now envision. Also, just curious, did Shining have any acquaintances or friends before he left the community?
I do like the comparison to Robin Hood in my head I see Final Stand as a Van Helsing type chapter who name and legend would make him remembered for 100s of year and his descendants due to Twilight's grandmothers role and authority have a leading role over humans.
Another question I have is if after Final Stand did any of his descendants became monster hunters or gain any level of the power he used to fight Luna and where his power came from and if Twilight would obtain it at some point?
Another question I have is what event caused Celestia to change her views of humans and the events leading to her first adoption of a human and maybe also Sunset's adoption?
Also may I ask what monster Cadence will be, in my mind given she is family to Celestia and her role of as princess of love I think Succubus as a subtype of vampire would be a good fit for her character?

In the first story Rainbow Dash said that Celestia is the most powerful monster in the world, given that Celestia is the mayor and has power over the other monsters and her role in most stories, would she be the ruler of monsters over either this stories version of Equestria or the world?

Is Cantelot City a good example of peaceful community between Monsters and Humans? There is some tension between them, but they seem good enough. Is the World outside generally... let's say less than equal?

I have a theory that the wedding Rainbow dash was getting the dress made for in the first story is Cadence and Shinings wedding

That sounds like a good theory, what monster do you think would best suit Cadence in your mind and do you see Twilight's grandmother becoming the main villain of the story and if so what do you think her plan would be?
In my mind I think she would try and resurrect Final Stand and destroy monsters, maybe using Twilight as his host body as she is his descendent while she could also play that role, something that if she did would contrast her with Celestia who did almost anything to reunite and protect her family while she would not have such views maybe either before Twilight befriended monsters .

That sounds like an interesting idea, how do you see the outside world operating if Cantelot is the best place to live for humans and monsters together and if Celestia had power outside Cantelot what do you think she would do about it given her new view of humans?
