    Moths Are Misunderstood.

    Moths aren't ugly or disgusting.

    Moths are fluffy. Butterflies aren't.

It's like the sun and moon. Most people love being out in the some, but others like the night.

    It's my birthday soon.

    Hey guys.

    It's my birthday on Saturday.

    I'll be 18.

    18 years...wow.

Gonna spend it with my family. And by family, I mean my twin sister, my mother, my wife and my daughter.

    Happy New Year!

"And with that, the 2023 season comes to an end. Goodnight"

    And hello 2024.

Looking back on 2023, I learned a lot.

My daughter turned a year old, it was my one year anniversary with my wife. Yes, I'm married since my mother and her parents gave us permission, before anyone asks.

    When Bad Things Happen...

    You could call it....

    A Series Of Unfortunate Events.

Just make sure you're not a rich orphan with a count after you and your family's fortune.

And don't run into anyone called Carmelita.

    If you know, you know.

Wings on a human. Simplifed. · 9:48pm Jun 1st, 2022

Okay, to simplify things, since I am a visual learner, it helps me. If anyone here is Autistic like myself, you'll understand where I'm coming from.

Think of the wing of a bird as the arm. I'm not joking, that's basically what it is. Minus the hand and all the other ligaments, joints, bones, etc.

Here are some pictures for reference.

The wings would be connected to the upper shoulders, held by the Scapulars. The wing bones would consist of a Humerus bone, Ulna and Radius bone, Alula and a Carpus and Metacarpus bone. The wing bone would end in a jagged tip called the Digit.

The connection between the Humerus and the Ulna and Radius bones would be called the Elbow. the same way they connect for our arms to our shoulders.

The bones are not completely hollow but pneumatized, meaning that they have criss-crossing struts across the inside of the bone for strength. This makes them less heavy but not fragile. They’re denser which makes them more durable. They will need to be this way to deal with the stresses of flying, taking off and landing as well as supporting the muscles.

The wings would be covered in thick muscles which would help to achieve flight and to keep them held up when not in flight. The muscles and the wing bones would be covered in elastic and soft skin in order to be able to achieve flight.

The skin covering the wings would be first layered by the covert and Scapula Feathers on the top of the wings. Underneath the Scapula and Covert Feathers are more covert feathers. Then under the Scapula and Covert Feathers are the Secondary Feathers. Under them are the Scapula Feathers. Then there would be more Covert Feathers and the Primary Feathers.

The different rows of feathers layer over each other, one across from the other in a neat row.

This is the best that I can explain how wings would work on a human if we evolved with them. However, these pictures of anatomy explain better how wings work in TV shows such as Good Omens, Constantine, SuPerNatural and Lucifer.

Though the wings in Good Omens and Constantine look awfully designed. They look much cooler in SuPerNatural as shadows. They also look cool in Lucifer as they have different shapes and colors as well as lengths and designs.

Dragon/bat/thestral wings(they're all similar enough) aren't as good as angel wings.

......................................................................................Fair enough. :facehoof: :ajsleepy:

Still want a pair of wings though.

I think I read something like this in a My Little Dashie sequel once, nice to have a visual to go along with that.

(I'm also autistic, so this makes more sense)

Yay great to see more autistic people like me around

I'll drink to that, my friend.
