An Idea I have been toying with.

I've been mulling an idea for a while, and I wanted to know if it's been done before.

In S3e13 "Magical Mystery Cure", Twilight deifies into an alicorn after she finishes Starswirl's incomplete spell. What if instead of accepting the promotion, Twilight says she'll only become a god if all five of her friends become gods, too.

Alternatively, in the Series finale, when Twilight becomes the Mane Monarch of Equestria, she could have asked Celestia and Luna to make her five friends alicorns, so she could rule with them forever.

Has this concept ever been toyed with before? If so, do you know where I can read a fic like this? I don't want to write something that's already been written. I'll make it my own style, but if it HAS been done before, please let me know.
