Twilight and Rainbow have just started a new life with their newly-adopted daughter, Scootaloo, but the filly’s old parents have returned with a vengeance.
Honestly so happy to have returned to this site after half a decade and see that you are still writing. It makes writers like me believe that it’s possible to keep going. I’ve always strived for it and found the strength often. Love your fictions, will be reading more of them soon. Best of luck ‘old friend’ I guess I should say being original members of this site and all.
5656188 Yeah, it's still nice to be writing but it's been getting harder due to more and more people leaving the site. I used to be driven by comments, views, and other stats, but now not so much. I felt pretty guilty leaving my main stories unfinished.
I certainly know that feeling. After having an active following of real people on the internet or not it becomes harder to find comfort in the silence of our own writing or lack of responses.
It’s been very difficult fir me to look back on my fictions because I have changed so much in 8ish or more years and my writing is so much better. The people who were waiting for the updates that never came are probably long gone.
But, we are writers. The open page and knowledge that we will turn it when we fill it is always at the edge of our pens and keyboards. We make these worlds, we are the creators, sometimes we have to remember that above any one or anything else, our own creations are our biggest fans.
