Some Ideas For A Clockwork Fic · 7:31am Apr 27th, 2022
Don't mind me, just jotting down some ideas...
As I said earlier, I am toying with writing a fic about my OC Clockwork (tentative title: "All The Time In The World). I was thinking of something that both tells his story and ties G5 in with G4. It'll help if you've read Clockwork's bio, which I posted yesterday on my blog. Alright, here goes!
List of ideas: 1) In G4 times, Clockwork fights to be recognized as Luna's legitimate child. No title, no prestige, just acknowledgement that Luna is his mother.
2) Perhaps some slice of life stuff? Clockwork learning how to make friends, his relationship with Starlight, etc.
3) This is a more serious one. One thing I wanted to make clear was that Clockwork is mortal. He'll die in Luna's lifetime. How does Luna cope knowing she'll have to bury her own child one day?
4) Now for G5 stuff. After the events of the ANG movie, Sunny and co could stumble on some archives; either from Argyle or Old Canterlot. These archives are Clockwork's private journal entries.
The only thing I am not sure about regarding this new story idea is whether the mane 3 alicorns (Celestia, Luna, and Twilight) should make appearances, either as supporting cast or main characters.
