There's a fantastic Japanese restaurant down the block, and I went and tried authentic Japanese ramen for the first time.
Gonna be hard going back to the Maruchan packs now.

Looks tasty!
Yeah, there’s a ramen place an hour from where I live that makes great ramen. The authentic thing to what you buy in packets is like comparing a filet migon to frozen Salisbury steak… the quality of one is FAR above the other!
Here’s my fav: The tokantsu ramen!

Edit: FINALLY fixed the link to show the ramen!
Oh yeah, dude, actual ramen can be bangin'. Just gotta find the right place.
Delicious isn't it? Anyone who doesn't like it is a heathen 🍥🍜
Yeah, Maruchan has nothing on that, no matter how much roast beef or additional seasoning you include with it.
<3 noodles. There's this ramen joint in Seattle called Kizuki. I had a bowl of their Garlic Tonkatsu... took a mouthful of those noodles & broth and just froze, was that delicious.
In addition to ramen, I developed an addiction to steamed soup dumplings and pork buns. Shout out to Dough Zone and Din Tai Fung, also in Seattle.
