So I've been thinking for a while now and before anyone gets worried. NO, I'm not leaving this site and I'm not going to quit writing.

But, I've been thinking of perhaps rewriting my first fics. Specifically I've been thinking of giving Kingdom of Predators a revamp and Equestrias Wild Card a remake. While I am glad to see so many people enjoying my fics, looking back at those two, you can tell that they could be improved upon and that they were my first.
My biggest mistake in Kingdom of Predators was how I kind of lost track on where I was going and added elements that just wasn't necessary. Beginners mistake is what I would call that.
"Chapter 9. Gods and Foreboding" is the first chapter of any fic I've written which I can say that I hate how that one turned out. It adds nothing to the story and the first half is just completely unnecessary. I still think I can save it from getting worse and I will probably take down a chapter or two and rewrite them in order for the story to get back on track.
As for Equestrias Wild Card, I realise as I was writing the latest chapter that I've started to lose the interest that I had to expand it to what I had originally planned. At first, the story was going to be set in a version of Equestria were Shadows and Demons from Shin Megami Tensei had replaced all other creatures across MLP and would have zones in places like the Everfree Forest that worked as gateways to the Cognitive World. Hydras would be replaced with the Hydra from SMTV and the same with other monsters from the series. But the overarching plot was just starting to look less and less interesting for me and I felt that I was just adding a bunch of elements that just wouldn't add anything to the story and I was just wasting time.
That and I started to feel that by giving Minato all the power from the Velvet Room and allowing him to gain access to Personas like Shiva and Maria right at the beginning of his journey, turned him into a Gary Stu. Which I know many people dislike. Doesn't help either that because I wanted to add as many mechanics as possible from the Persona and SMT games made it all so complicated for no reason. Like the Traits and Skill Mechanics. Since I realise that non of it was ever going to come up again, making it once again a waste of time.
So I have tought of a more fleshed out and more in theme type of fic, which I'm going to call:
Messiah of Canterlot High
It's going to play out in a highschool setting with the main character being a transfer student in a type of Equestria Girls universe instead of it being a Displaced fic surrounding the Merchant. The main characters name is going to be Snow Sincerity, as being a direct reference to the name of the MC in Persona 3. His Persona would still be Messiah, but a less powerful version of the Persona to give the character more room to grow. I will still use some elements from Equestrias Wild Card in this new fic to bring forth what I'm trying to do, like how the Velvet Room looks for example. And I have also thought out and finally decided on all of the Personas for each of the Main 7 this time.
I can still, if you guys want, post the original unfinished chapter for Equestrias Wild Card and give a summary of what was going to happen in the beginning regarding Luna and Nightmare Moon. But once that is done, Equestrias Wild Card will be the first of my fics to be cancelled.
You must go where you're writing takes you. Listen to your Muse and if you feel a rewrite is in order then so be it. I've enjoyed my time reading your persona story so of course I will very much enjoy whatever remake you choose to do with it.
If you feel that there is something you need to change, then you know what to do. You are the artist, and nobody else understand your art better than you.
I can understand the point u brought up.
Honestly i think the original persona thing worked fine with the mc having all this power seemed neat since he still needs practice and there are also a lot of stronger antagonist if u look through the smt and persona. Though if u want it cancelled i also understand, the concept was neat but if the plot was uninteresting or u can't make it work thats fair. Additionally i was wondering on how u were going to fit in a lot of the mechanics the game had, it would seem confusing for the reader if they overlapped.
Regarding the monster, i don't think anyone would mind a rewrite on any chapter, though its best to put a rewrite marker on it. Since its ur story and if u think a rewrite would make it better then u should rewrite it.
Regarding the new fic, what personality would the mc have, as in would he still have the same personality and would the characters (day and nightmare) be appearing in the story?

Similar to Minato. Confident, kind and helpful, while having a gray world view. When I say gray world view, it means that he doesn't see anything as absolute good or absolute evil, the opposite of seeing the world in black and white.
His name, Snow Sincerity, is meant to reflect how he is as a person. He appears cold and hard to approach, but is infact sincere in everything he does. He is going to be bit more secluded compared to Minato, not necessarly anti-social, but more in a manner that people will need to approach him rather than the other way around and he'll only approach you if you need help with something mundane.

As for Daybreaker and Nightmare? I'm not going to reveal anything, but I will say that they're still going to make an appearance, but their roles are going to be something completely different.

Sure if u can and want. Trutfully i have seen many stories go unfinished or cancelled for one reason or another without a proper ending or summary on its ending (of course i understand that the reason for such are very valid, its just sad). It would be nice to see some ideas u had planned for it before u cancel it, and see how it could have gone.
