EqG:StH Story Update #9 - I'm Going to be Offline for a While · 9:15pm Mar 29th, 2022
Hey everypony!
As you all know, I'm a HUGE Sonic fan. I really enjoyed the first movie, so naturally, I'm planning to go see the upcoming sequel, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and I'm so excited to see it! 
With that said... I'm going to be offline indefinitely until I see Sonic the Hedgehog 2.
Now you all might be wondering, "why now?" "Isn't the movie coming out in theaters on April 8th?" Well, while that's technically true that the official release date is on April 8th mostly worldwide, however, there are some people who managed to have access to early screenings on April 6th (*grumble* lucky *grumble*). And even so, the earliest release date for the movie to hit theaters is on March 30th in France! Which means, potential spoilers may be popping up around the internet even before it hit theaters on April 8th, at least in the US. Good grief! 
Heck, even Paramount released an official TV Spot/PSA about not spoiling the movie just this morning!
Despite that it was a pretty good video, I knew that it won't be enough. I knew that there's always one out there who doesn't care about spoiling the movie for everyone and will do it anyway just for being a troll. And even if by some miracle that people do care, certain social media apps will carelessly reveal a "leak" image or footage within the recommendation list or the treading page.
I'm looking at you, YouTube and Twitter! 
It's because of these leaks was how I (as well as many others) were spoiled about Tails making a surprise appearance at the end of the first movie before I have a chance to see it. While I'm not too angry about it since it doesn't affect the whole movie, I was annoyed that an awesome reveal like that was leaked so carelessly. While Paramount has learned from their mistake and I too learned to be more careful using certain apps, I'm not taking any chances.
To avoid another "Tails incident", I'm taking a step back from online for the time being until I'm able to see the movie for myself. This means that I won't be around to read any updated stories or respond to any of your messages. I honestly don't know when I'll return, but it won't be for too long. I'll let you all know as soon as I get back, but for now, I don't want to take any risks, so I hope you all understand.
And lastly, even when I'm not around and if you're one of the lucky few to see the Sonic 2 movie, I ask you to please keep that to yourself until I return.
And before any of you ask, yes, I'm still working on Volume III of EqG: Sonic the Hedgehog. I'll be writing it offline for the time being. It's still coming, so don't you all fret.

You got it. I'm also excited to see the movie. I just hope i can watch it. Being in a small town far away from the only city that has a cinema is quite the downer.

You have the right to be offline just to avoid spoilers. I'm planning on being offline after I watched the movie. I got spoiled two times, once a year. With the sonic movie and with No way home. So the best option, for me, is to not go online/social media to avoid any spoilers popping up.
I'm also glad your still working on Vol. III and I can't wait!!!

Cool, but is it gonna be on Amazon Prime Video? That’s where I saw the prequel.
