A status update of sorts... · 2:37pm Mar 29th, 2022
So... some time ago, I mentioned that some stories set in the same universe as Chapters of a Revamped Tome would get independent story adaptations, due to how extensive the overhauls would be.
Mistakenly, I said that one of those stories would be an adaptation of Issue 26 of the IDW comics, rather than Issue 26 of the Friends Forever series. However, I later pointed out I may still adapt the former.
Well... I have since read Issue 26 of the IDW comics, as well as its preceding issue... and... with all due respect to fans of that particular storyline... while I do have some interest in adapting it, due to a few elements I liked, odds are it will be a very, shall we say, intensive adaptation, as I personally felt the original comic had both a too unusual tone and too many issues with its storyline.
No disrespect is meant to those who liked the comic as it was. All the issues I found with it were merely my personal opinion. I will admit that TV Tropes hints that it’s an opinion many agree with, but it’s still just an opinion.

If it helps, meaning this nicely, then you already have more than me. :) For now, all I have is a vague idea that Twilight needs to be busy with something more serious, and probably a fair few of her friends as well. Otherwise... I don't think I can portray a justifiably long conflict.
#EDIT: And of course, I look forward to reading the Quiververse equivalent of that storyline.

Do what you need to do for it when the time comes. As for me, well, I have my plans, but they are a long ways away from being implemented.

However long your plans take to be implemented, I look forward to seeing which characters will deal with Longhorn and his bulls in the Quiververse and how they will approach that matter. :)
