Change of plans regarding future updates... · 12:37am Feb 25th, 2022
Well... I'm sorry I need to do this, but as it turns out, I think I will need to do something that I was not looking forward to do, for more reasons than one.
As you may recall, on my last update announcement before I first posted Chapters of a Revamped Tome, I said that what was originally meant to be the first entry was divided into two parts, and what I posted is what was initially the first part.
Unfortunately... I have some bad news on that one.
Given some of the content that was meant to be featured in that part, and in light of the current on-going conflict in Ukraine, I am torn on whether I should finish it and post it or if I should wait for the time being.
I will say the following: I don't intend to portray the viewpoint characters as praising war or saying that wars should be fought or anything in that vein, and if it comes across like I did so, I will have really failed as a writer. That said, I still feel it may be in too poor taste to post anything referencing both past wars and potential wars in such a specific manner.
On the other hand... the basic message is meant to be about why wars should be avoided and that one should always try for peace and try not to be the one starting conflicts, and well... at the risk of sounding pretentious, I feel that that's always a pertinent message, probably all the more so in times of war. But as I said, I also feel it may still be in too poor taste given current events.
Honestly... ultimately, I'll still need a bit more time to decide on this. If anyone wants to weigh in, please feel free to do so in the comments.
That said, if I end up posting this particular entry at a later time, I will simply start working on another. I already have many ideas for entries I'd like to work on and share, so I may simply shift my focus to one of those for the time being.
Whatever I end up posting next, I hope you like it.

I will confess I am still a bit hesitant about posting it, but now I have at least decided to finish it, as I already wrote much and have more outlined, and well... again at the risk of sounding pretentious, I feel the basic message is pertinent.
Should I actually get it done and not get cold feet at the time of posting, it will be up this weekend.
