Harmonic Resonance in prereads; Midnight Rising on deck · 1:40pm Feb 6th, 2022
The new Harmonic Resonance chapter is a big one as befits our Human Element of Generosity, coming in at a healthy 10.5k words. It will be released as soon as prereads are in, and I have the approval of the commissioner on it. In all honesty, this one gave me some trouble as I tried something different in this chapter than the previous ones, seeking a suitable ascension for the lovely Miss Rarity. But it seems to have turned out pretty well. You be the judge when the time comes.
After this, my next clopfic to work on will be Midnight Rising as we finally look to finish off the Sour Sweet two-parter and find out how else a naked singularity can be used for sex. At this point, what actually motivates me to work on it and Nightmare Night again is finally getting to do a couple scenes involving the Griffon Kingdom’s Hall of Heroes I’ve been wanting to for a while. One is planned for each, and they will be... suitable to both stories.
I guess I’ve got griffies on the brain right now thanks to Feathered Hearts, and I reserve the right to work on another chapter of Eros as well. Consensus from my last blog post was that the first side story readers would like to see was Merlina Marcus x Lieutenant Nantz, so it looks like that will be done first when I wrap up the main “Night to Remember” arc.
Before that, however, we have at least three more chapters to write, starting with the events of the last chapter from Chris’ point of view. After that comes one or two Midway chapters where various shenanigans abound, and then the conclusion of the night’s festivities with a grand finale of sorts with Giraldi as the center of attention. You’ll even get a glimpse of the Ibex at the end.
You might want to use some of you'r Firefly chapters of the past to give us a better view of the Griffon Nation now. The old nation is no more and this one probably changed a lot.
Or did it... - -
Why do I get the feeling that this glimpse of then will just involve them staring wide eye and whispering "What the BUCK did we do here?"
I'm looking forward to the next update of Midnight Rising.
