Blue looked around, sighing. He stepped into the den, seeing Kydra at her desk. “Hey Ky?” he walked over. “Can we talk?”
“Hm?” She turned, set her book down. “What is it Bluey?”
He hesitated, but soon stared her down. “I’m taking a break,” he stated. “As in, I’m gonna be gone for a few weeks. Maybe till January.”
Kydra stared, clearly very shocked.
“Listen, I’m sorry. But I can’t take this.” Blue grabbed his bag. “All the sexual abuse you’ve put me through… I think it’s time I leave for a while.”
Kydra grabbed him, knocking his bag to the floor. “No!! Stay!!”
Blue pulled away, grabbing his bag. “I’m sorry Ky. But I have to leave for a bit.” He turned and walked towards the door. “I’ll see you in January.”
With that, Blue left, leaving the hive behind. He sighed, but knew that this was best. For both of them.
