So, Sleepless, what have you been doing all this time?
To put it simply, things got complicated really fast. My grandma's health has been deteriorating because of her not listening to my sister, and my sister's own health is also going down do to having to take care of my grandma. So I have been going around helping as much as I could, till I eventually reached the conclusion that it will be best if I moved back with them, so I've been busy with helping family and preparations for the moving, just the last three days have been completely free for me.
So, needless to say, I haven't been with time or in the mood to write, and the fact that a bunch of really interesting contests sprung up that I really wanted to participate in but didn't have the time to, just further soured my will to write. In fact, the one story I made in between all of this for the Sovereigns contest (which I was never expecting to participate in) was written completely out of frustration, and outside of the blacksmith's accent, I didn't really have fun with it, but I had to write something and this one was the quickest I could produce.
However, despite all of this, I was making slow progress in this chapter, it's just that the chapter kept growing exponentially to the point that I was considering splitting it in half. So, not wanting to have it fall during the Christmas times, I finally split the thing in two, with the second part pending for either just before the madness of December, or start of January. You still have over 10k words to go through so you won't starve for content till then.
After that, I'm sorry but there will be another long pause before I go back to this story since like I said, I have a lot of pending things to do, but if you enjoy this, you probably can enjoy those stories too.
Anyway, that should leave you all up to date, sorry if I kept things in silence too much, but I usually want to have at least something to give every time I do an update.
Hopefully the moving will do me some good and let me focus on writing full time again.
