"PerNoWriMo": A Bit of News for Imposing Sovereigns Contestants

Blog Number 169: Dreamless Sleep Edition

Firstly, in case some people missed it: due to real life affecting one of the judges, the results of the Imposing Sovereigns challenge will be delayed for at least two weeks as of this hyperlinked message's date.

(Said message was posted on Thursday, but "two weeks" is about right either way... subject to future change, as and when it happens).

I doubt I'll reach many people the group itself didn't, but there was no accompanying blog like I'd have expected for this, and there's a chance not everyone who joined the Imposing Sovereigns group has notifications enabled. If you can, please spread the message. Nothing urgent: I just thought it might help if I did this to keep people in the loop.

So, regarding those contest results: start placing bets!

In other - more immediate - news, I have noticed the comments and messages of recent days. I want to assure you I will reply to them.

Not just yet, though. Between this latest fic eating up a lot of time and energy, and my life in general juggling medical and domestic business, I don't feel quite up to par right this second. Not for doing justice to the nitty-gritty. I hope you understand.

Rest assured my current plan is to publish the new fic, rest for a bit, then come back when I'm feeling refreshed. Tomorrow is when I intend to start posting responses. If all goes well: I reserve the right to delay if something else comes up here.

Suffice it for now to say I'm grateful to many people for their thoughts and insights, and I'm certainly happy to have seen them around and about. It cheers me up to see good folks - some I haven't seen in a while! - still alive and well, it really does.

Well, I'm not going to ding you for it. I assumed the judging was a case of "It'll come when it comes" or else guessing it'd arrive at a similar time to prior ones (about a month, if I remember correctly). This announcement's just a bonus.

And yeah, I could be more prompt and consistent about replying to my own comments. There's always something else to do...
