    Well, color me impressed.

All 78 episodes on 2 discs, the translation is just as solid as the Hulu version, the subtitles are on by default, and they even translated the mid-episode character cards.

Well, because there was no TYT this week...

Here's an absolutely adorable tutorial on how to hug your pony from doubleWbrothers.

So I've been busy away from ponies... Again...

With my quest/race to get a Rainbow S on all of Freedom Planet 2's stages, my creativity lit up like a bonfire again, and I started crafting an alternate ending of sorts for the past week.

That story is now complete, and posted in its entirety over on AO3.

Extra Life 2021 Recap · 5:59pm Nov 7th, 2021

Well, my second Extra Life charity stream is over.

So, about those Carolina Reaper chicken tenders... I'm glad that I was sure to include the word attempt to eat them. Because what those did to me, I have never experienced before from any other kind of chili. I've powered through Buffalo Wild Wings' ghost-powered Blazin' sauce, and have eaten a Carolina Reaper wet hot sauce, but this was an entirely different level altogether. Never before has spice caused my chest to convulse and hiccup in mere seconds.

So long story short, I only got a single bite in, and milk and spoonfuls of ranch dressing did absolutely nothing.

I'm usually good at playing the mental game and pushing through the heat (including the aforementioned Blazin' wings), but when this burn set in, every fiber of my body was like 'Do NOT take a second bite, you idiot'. I wonder if it had anything to do with the fact that the wings were a wet sauce, and these tenders were dry.

I did have the foresight to set up my phone to get everything on a second camera, because even if YouTube does manage to buffer and store all 25 hours of my stream, I'm not about to ask you guys to go through that. So at some point, I'm going to get the 10 minutes of footage off of my phone and upload it as a separate video, most likely making an "Oh God" counter to go along with the musings of my first streaming partner, Alexander, as he got two bites in and even managed a bite of reaper-soaked bread before his brain finally stopped him. He made the mistake of touching his eyes later in the evening, and it was worse than getting pepper sprayed. A short shower solved that problem, thankfully. A special hats-off to him, because attempting that with me was never part of the arrangement, and he did get a little bit more ingested than I did.

So suffice to say, Joella's Fire in Da Hole tenders have absolutely humbled me, and I am done scoffing at heat scales.

I played more Halo than anything, and the evening was full of exciting moments for me; ironic when I was only half-joking when I advertised some mediocre Halo. I won matches in every game in the MCC except Halo 4, and even managed my very first Killtacular in Halo 2, when back in the day that game's multiplayer scene was always the most intimidating.

Best quote of the stream?

"You know, you don't really make 14 hours straight seem like that much of a chore." My dear sweet mom, folks. And she's right. 14 straight, even 16, wasn't too tricky. It was the back 8 that were going to be hard.

Which is why I also want to give a special thank you to my third streamer, who I left to pick up at 1am. He didn't get much of an audience or any donations that late at night. I wasn't expecting him to with how small we are compared to bigger streamers and groups, but thanks to him playing ToonTown and Cuphead, the stream made it the full 25 hours.

So all in all, we raised $650 for Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis. It was apparently significant enough where a representative for the hospital stopped into the stream to wish us well and hoped we were enjoying Game Day.

I would like to take this time to thank each and every one of our donors that helped us nearly double what we did back in 2016. It makes me want to start immediately planning something even more intricate for next year, with just as interesting, slightly less idiotic incentives.

The highest donors of the stream were an anonymous $105 donation, yours truly matching family donations at $110, and once again, Fimfiction's Phazon was our top donor at $250. Look, buddy. I really don't have the words. I was amazed I could keep along with the beat on Bullets Per Minute when that notification popped on the screen. I know I usually say that I don't do commissions, but if you ever have a premise or a ship that you want me to give a try, shoot me a message, anytime, and I will give it my honest best effort, absolutely free of charge. Thank you very much for your generosity.

Well, at least you raised a lot of money! Sorry to hear about the spicy chicken, hope your tastebuds are okay!

I don't consider it wasted money (the chicken). The sides were terrific, and as for the chicken, it was most certainly an experience, even if it was just a single bite.

Fair enough. I personally hate hot stuff too, I can understand it being too hot. Ever had Texas crawfish? *shudder*

Can't say that I have. I don't think I've even had crawfish. But I'll try anything once.

Don't get me wrong I'll still do heat, I just want flavor to go with it.

There's plenty of flavor if you dip it in this sauce they give you. I prefer to get it unseasoned though, I can't take that spice unless it's at the lowest amount-

Glad the event went well. If I remember correctly, I think you would've beaten your 2016 total even without my contribution, but all the same, I'm happy to help.

As for the tenders, I'm wondering what happened to them in the end. I can't blame you if they had to be thrown out. Hell, I try to avoid spicy foods. I could just manage when coworkers shared some Indian goodies during past Diwalis, I'm not exactly thrilled when my drinking buddies find a habanero craft beer, and I was slowed way the hell down when I had my local pizza place's buffalo chicken pizza. Though there is a funny clip from Supernatural of the older brother not knowing what he was getting into with a bag of ghost pepper jerky... and either the brothers or the show writers not knowing that water doesn't help.

So that intermission artwork with Tails and Spike, who's that in the middle? I want to say Asriel.
