"PerNoWriMo": Personal Novel Writing Month · 9:05am Nov 2nd, 2021
Blog Number 164: Antepenultimate Edition
🕐Eight days to go...🕑
Bluntly put, I'm going to do my own version of NaNoWriMo. Write 60,000 words in a month.
I'm... reasonably confident I can do it. 😊
More specifically, I've counted how much I wrote in October, and the total comes to just over 55,000 words. Keep in mind I had a massive shake-up halfway through the month: without delving into details, I was in hospital briefly and took about ten days afterward to feel good enough for writing again*. So... for about a third of the month, I was technically M.I.A.
* OK, OK, that's probably not 100% accurate. I managed to edit and publish some pre-existing words just fine; it was mainly in the actual creative stage where I was struggling.
The best part? I still got ideas, and I got momentum, and I just want to keep it going. Start pushing myself again.
But not too hard.
Till next time! Impossible Numbers, out!
Also, I still have no idea what to do for my decennial anniversary.
Like I said before, I've already done a blog post about my first time watching the show, and at the moment I'm not 100% sure I could do too much anyway. My best idea at the moment is maybe look back on a few favourite episodes that I watched at the time (I got plenty to choose from: I watched the first ten eps on my first day, after all, and the entirety of Season One was completed by the end of my second).
I guess what I'm saying is: I'm open to suggestions, please...? 😅
- You could compare certain episodes to any story you have written that is/may be closely tied to same and discuss how each episode inspired you and how you reflected it in your tale.
- You could go through your oldest stories and discuss what in the show inspired them.
Hell yeah! Good luck good luck!

These are good ideas, only I was thinking mainly of a show focus this month, and then save the fic focus for December (which'll be the anniversary of me joining this fanfic site).
Still, I suppose there's no harm in a bit of overlap: I could make show references in the fanfic anniversary post, and fanfic mentions in the show anniversary post.

Thank you very much. Very kind of you.

What's most important is that you enjoy what you're writing about, of course!
