My First Post-Movie G5 Story · 4:32pm Oct 25th, 2021
Well I finally did it! After watching the movie three times and borrowing some personality traits of Izzy from other G5 authors, I wrote my first post movie G5 story. It is an Izzy Moonbow x self insert story (featuring one of my OCs) .....after all, who wouldn't want to hook up with Izzy, right? The story is anthro. It involves my OC winning a contest at a pony convention to go to Equestria. In it I didn't know I'd be going to a G5 anthro Equestria but it turned out being the greatest thing to ever happen to me. I hope you enjoy it.

Sunny isn't in this story. It takes place prior to the movie and I haven't done a Sunny one yet. I do however have an OC x Pipp story in the works, a Sunny x Izzy story in the works and a story where Izzy and Sunny will go on an adventure that will be tied into the world 2,000 years after "Escaping from Celestia."...and yes Izzy and Sunny will be a couple in it but won't engage in any "fine times." The only one that I plan on throwing any clop into will be the Sunny x Izzy story....my OC x Pipp one won't because my OC wants to earn the trust of Queen Haven and Zipp....and he is a unicorn rock star so naturally they'll have their concerns.

That doesn't surprise me since I really trend towards anthro...but then again I do a fair amount of clop too and antrhos are great for that.

Well I'll do something like that at some point....I do like her almost as much as Izzy....and my OC x Pipp story will take the place of a self-insert. After all, I think a rock star would be perfect for her.....a rock star who became just as infatuated with social media as her once the pegasi helped get internet and cell service set up across the rest of Equestria.

Plus, you are Izzy’s love interest in the self insert story, then what are the names of the love interests for Zipp, Pip, and Sunny.

She will....she deserves love too....maybe an OC since that is what I'm doing for Pipp. I do plan on focusing more on G5 for a while. Yes I do have some G4 stories in the works but so many people, myself included, are focusing on G5. That is mostly what i've been reading as of late.

Well Pipp's is Hard Rock. He is the lead singer for the heavy metal band "Steel Mareden" out of Bridlewood.....this does take place after the reuniting of the tribes.
Zipp's, I'm not sure yet. I didn't even give it much thought until you brought it up.
Sunny, I'm also not sure....it will likely be an OC....not sure what tribe he/she will be from yet. I am doing a cross tribe thing with Pipp, a pegasus would be best for Zipp....Sunny is rather progressive so I doubt it would matter for her.

Thanks. Now the adventure story will be of them as full ponies because there will be no "fine times." Given that it is a sequel of "Escaping from Celestia" (which is full pony), it will be the same....that one will be a G4/G5 crossover.

Those could work, I swear though, I'm putting way too much on my plate these days. I remember earlier this year when I said I was only going to have one thing in my unsubmitted stories list....well that has been shot all to hell...I have 10 already.

Some of those have been sitting there inactive for quite some time. I may eventually get the ideas needed to get back to them but right now, G5 is on the top of my list. I've started on the crossover right now....while "Escaping from Celestia" is still fresh in my mind since it is a sequel. The name of this story is "The Lost Unicorns."

Just imagine Sunny and Izzy meeting unicorns that are over 2,000 years old and have been living in a dense forest the whole time. Unlike the forest Izzy lives in, it more or less resembles Fanghorn from LotR....much darker and no flowery bushes....oh and because of the life crystal, they're all mares.

At least the Ents can be reasoned with....the spiders, not so much. Now for G4 unicorns who have been in hiding for over 2,000 years having a G5 unicorn and a G5 earth pony trespassing.....some may be ok, others...not so much.

One thing about all of Celestia's former proteges living in Unicornia, not a single one of them have pursued romance with the others....they tend to view one another as sisters more than anything else....just imagine their reaction when they have Izzy and Sunny coming in, madly in love with one another. For many of them, romantic love will be a foreign concept by that point in time.....especially Queen Radiant Hope who has been there for 3,000 years.

Les ponies are what I used to do exclusively....and I'm thinking of perhaps going back in that direction. Thing is, the only straight ships I've been doing are either self-inserts or OCs, I haven't done any straight shipping with canon characters, at all.
