The Israel/Gaza Situation Has Me Broken

Ignore if you hate this topic. I avoid social media, and I'd rather rant here than the hellhole that is Twitter :rainbowlaugh:

    Already on Step 4

Check this out if you have zero clue what I'm talking about haha.

Did bodyweight squats in front of my physical therapist, and they were good!! Super smooth, great range of motion, and zero tightness for the first few sets. This puts me on step 4 out of 5.

Plan to Cross the Finish Line

Gameplan my physical therapist and I made to overcome my joint issues once and for all. I'd say I'm 90% there, so here is the plan for the last 10%. Primary remaining issue is the left hip weakness causing me to shift much of my weight onto the right hip, which also causes my entire trunk/upper body to twist to compensate for the lean. This messes up my shoulder blade movement as well, leading to

Can Almost See the Light at the End of the Tunnel

After almost a full decade of pain affecting my waking hours, sleep, ability to exercise, and ability to just have fun, I'm almost done!!!!

I define me being done as: Being able to exercise, sleep, stand, sit, lie down, and walk with no pain, instability, or unevenness. It's hard to put a number on a goal like this, but I'd say I'm 85% there.

    Almost Done Beating Genetics

Ughhhhhh why can't I be 100% done, though :raritydespair:

Alright, so despite basically every joint having issues at first, I can minimize the major starting issues to:
    - Right hip tear + instability
    - Left hip tear + instability
    - Left shoulder instability
    - Right shoulder instability

The two bolded ones were the biggest issues. As of now, I have:

Now for Some Drama... Got Blocked for Disagreeing on a Blog Post · 11:04pm Oct 21st, 2021

This is the blog post.

Basically, 611fan posted a blog linking to another forum where someone was complaining about the Loud House fandom. That other person was ranting about how many Loud House fans get way too worked up about the show and its minor faults, and then compared those crazy fans to bronies haha.

And then I commented on 611fan's blog: "That guy isn't wrong lol."

I'm paraphrasing, of course, since I don't remember my exact words.

I only post this because I'm always astounded by people who block others for the smallest and dumbest reasons. Like, what are you gonna do when someone is actually bullying you, and it's in real life in a place where you have no escape or "block" button?

Like, what are you gonna do when someone is actually bullying you, and it's in real life in a place where you have no escape or "block" button?

Endure it? That’s what I did back when-

Or like some people say ask for help and tell a trusted grown up or friend

I love how the forum linked in the blog is about a person ranting about how people get worked up over minor things, and the person you’re dealing with here does exactly that just because you had a different opinion.

Not the best case of irony, but 🤷🏻

Lol good point.

Like, dude, I disagreed with you about a show and fandom I clearly love. I didn't make fun of your mom or something like that :rainbowlaugh:

I've never been a fan of enduring a problem. You're just allowing it to continue and essentially giving it permission to get worse.

5598596

611fan? Or someone else?

5598595
Eh-

Besides getting bad memories from bowling and losing my favourite drink bottle (wich the episode “Road To Friendship” where Trixie lost her wagon reminded me of that incident, R.I.P my bottle) and feeling hopeless for a while it didn’t do much...

Well... the bully made me feel like I had to hate the Mario series, I treat their name like a swear these days.
And also that year I questioned why I was a fan of the Animal Crossing series...

But it didn’t get worse, I won!

I became a fan of MLP again and I’m not being forced to bowl one stupid ball towards a bunch of stupid-

Uh... sorry, that got a bit long :twilightblush:

5598601

Lol. I thought he was cool with you since he was posting random history facts on your page.

5598602

No need to apologize haha.

So the bully picked on you for liking stuff like Mario?

5598607
Was it something I said?

5598609
Not really... they just made me feel like it...

The teachers loved them!

Me making music with my awesome bottle with them in the room ended up with it all gone! Apparently I hurt them!

Really, what I feel/felt towards him is basically close to what Trixie felt against Twilight between “Boast Busters” and “Magic Duel”
Minus the jealously

5598619
You said he was right about something?

5598620
He just said that enduring bullying would just allow it to continue and get worse. I just thought he had a point.

5598621
Eh... enduring mine didn’t have much negative effects
(I wrote about it earlier)

5598623
I know. I saw. You replied to him.

I've only ever had to block two people on this site, and I'm rather proud of that. One was a burner account seven to eight years ago that was posting site-breaking comments that injected scripts into every page they were on, displaying an un-blockable frame that said "Un-ban Kaidan!" The other was a guy who argued at me, blocked me, and then continued spamming me with angry private messages once he was safely hunkered down and protected from conversation.

I feel like blocking people just for their opinions is a far too easy way to isolate one's self into an echo chamber, and the people most prone to doing it are the weakest kind of person. There are some users on this site who you'd least expect it of, as they've carefully manufactured their public image, but it starts to crumble once you look behind the curtain. Words won't kill you even if you disagree with them, and what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger; blocking them out naturally produces the opposite effect.

Unfortunately this is all too common. For the Naruto manga/anime; the character Hinata Hyuga is hated because of how she was created. Go online and post any images of her nude or otherwise and watch the hate and insults immediately start.

5598896

You can't even blame me for posting a dumb remark this time lol.

The most benign comments can get you blocked, which always surprises me.

Agreed. I hate getting blocked after a misunderstanding... I personally think the block button should be blocked... the report button is there for people who won't leave you alone. And that one is much more fun :trollestia:
