BCT complete! On to AIT! · 1:13am Feb 19th, 2012
WOOH!
I have completed Army Basic Combat Training and graduated on February 17, 2012. A big accomplishment for sure, and I feel great to have done so much. My life can truly begin now, but I'm not done with training yet. I'm now in AIT, and though I forgot what the acronym means, it's essentially where I learn all about my job and how to do it.
AIT is 7 weeks and 2 days long. On weekdays (Mon - Fri) I have personal time from 20:30 (8:30) to 22:00 (10:00) on weekends, same thing, only to 23:00 personal time. When personal time is over, it's lights out and into bed immediately.
But in AIT, I am allowed to have electronic devices such as phones, MP3's, and my laptop! So...
MORE WRITING! Yes!
Finally I can browse ponies and write my stories again! Wooh!
So, though my submission amount won't be nearly as high in certain lengths of time, I will be online once again and I am officially "back". I really did miss all my watchers, and I look forward to making more stories for all to see.
Later I might post my address for anyone to mail me if they wish. The company from my family via letters was much appreciated in BCT, so the same will go here.
I'm a 13D MOS, i.e. I'm an artillery guy. I'm stationed at Ft. Sill, OK. I graduated BCT from Echo Batter, 1/40th FA battalion. So if any of you army bronies out there wanna look me up, or other military bros in general, message me and we'll talk! I'm eager to meat fellow service bronies!

Still in, heard talk that there is also another deployment coming down, but nothing has been confirmed as of yet. Also planning on extending my contract and have both air born and air assault schools added to it.

Congrats man...seriously that rocks. I can barely handle summer camp without my laptop, Basic training would be a nightmare for me.

Oh awesome! I'm glad I can finally see this post now. Website was being screwy before. Anyway, great job! I'm not an army person and I don't know much about how that stuff works, but I can tell you've made some good accomplishments. Can't wait for more stories. But, boy did you miss a lot with the ponies. Have fun catching up!

I know this is a little late, but congrats on surviving Basic, AIT should be a breeze. Served for about three years in AROTC before a back injury disqualified me from service. I was aiming for 11A, 12A, or 31A as an MOS.
