Hi every pony,
I know it's been a very long time since I posted for this story; I was in a bad place with my editor over these past months due to the very rough political times we are experiencing. We had always been at the opposite end of the political spectrums but it used to never interfere with our friendship or collaboration on projects. But with the election in 2020 and the riot on january 6th of this year and the turmoil of the riots of the pervious summer, the toxic situation ended up infecting the body of work and brought an end to us being friends any longer.
Oddly enough, it was my editor who had introduced me to my current artist, Kitty Sapphire 8989 who has been commissioned to do more characters for this story. Both Kitty and myself don't agree on many political topics of the day be we decided together that friendship and working together on my pony and and writing for her manga were more important than transient political points of view. We can 'agree to disagree' and still be friends. She and I put in place a word of safety for us to use if ever our conversations veer off into political waters neither of us wish to swim in. If we get too much into the political sphere where it's bothering either of us, we can say 'guardrail!' to warn the instigator of not continuing the topic any further. This method has worked for us; keeping either of us from saying something hurtful or regretful where we get mad and don't speak.
I will keep going with this story and try to get something more of then other pieces of stories I have out there. It's just so much harder to do when you don't have an unbias eye going over your work and call out the mistakes you don't see or realize you are making. Any pony out there in ther fandom looking to make some $$$ being and editor, please let me know. I am sure we can work something out as compensation.
