Another Chapter for the Wonderbolt Academy's New Volunteers is posted. · 6:07am March 10th

Hello Every Pony,

Well, Spring is coming and that means the pony-cons will be in full swing again and that means more road trips for fun in the sun and well as partying with other fans from all over the county. I can't wait for it. Fun, sun and food galore! My best friend and pony artist, Kitty Sapphire, was selected to have a vendor's table in this year's Seaquestriafest in Ocean City Maryland. We have been to the first two 'Fests together and had a really wonderful time there. The host spot, The Grand Hotel & Spa, has been great place to have the convention and been very understanding and accommodating to the pony fandom and the whole staff made us feel very welcome. Being situated right on the boardwalk and so close to so many fun spots to investigate on the boardwalk as well as on 'the strip', like the Jolly Roger Amusement Park and other places either within walking distance or a very short drive to get to, make for a very busy activity time when not attending the convention's panels. Like a couple of years ago, I did promise myself at least one 'far away' pony convention to attend and did that with BABS Con. That was a sort of 'pony fandom bucket list' thing and rather expensive to do; I was a bit shocked at the plane fare, hotel and car rental costs I incurred, but it was BABS Con so I figured 'Why the Hell not!'. This year, Kitty and I will try to get to Whinny City Pony Con in June or maybe Mare Fair in September if she can gain a table in the vendor hall. But these 2 Cons we can get to by driving and not flying.

The new chapter for my story 'The Wonderbolt Academy's New Volunteers' is up and I'm happy about it! This is the 'second part' for this particular are of the story arc I very much wanted to do when I began this story. I had these scenes in mind very early on, wanting to discuss race relations between three races of Equerstria's inhabitants. It's a topic that was touched on in G4 but completely got resolved in the G5 movie and left the series without any real story thread to follow. If the pony races were separated for so long, there should have been some time to reconnect for them; magic slowly coming back to Equestria as the trust, respect and admiration for each pony races unique gifts are shared and help rebuild friendship. But that's never going to happen now since the ending of G5's Make Your Mark has come, and we're stuck with that hokey-2D style animation that I don't care for very much in the Tell your Tale series.
Probibly THEE most important scene I had in mind is in the next chapter and I'm getting some much desired and appreciated help from Kitty Sapphire and two other female pony fans who are helping me craft the scene. Working together on the scene, Kitty is roleplaying the part of Silverstream and I'm roleplaying Firebolt; Kitty has a good idea of what Silverstream might say and I know how Firebolt is going to react and respond in return.

Getting so close to the end of this particular part of the story arc has been tough but now I can see a point in the story where I can take a pause in the writing and allow me to concentrate on the other stories more. Not that I've been ignoring them, only that my Sprout Cloverleaf story has some new characters taken from both the Make Your Mark and Tell Your Tale series I want incorporate into it as well as some story plot points that I need to change; mainly because the series has made Rocky and Jazz an item as well as Queen Haven and Alphabiddle developing a relationship too. These were not in my original draft and now it needs altering. I had scribbled out the idea of Jazz possibly dating Sprout but that's not going to happen. Since G5 is still going in the Tell Your Tale while G4 is a done deal, there's not much chance of me crossing up some cannon points of the lore in the G4 series.
