Looking for a New Editor for Verve · 4:43pm Aug 25th, 2021
Heya! I had some trouble with my last editor. Strictly speaking, they weren't able to provide constructive criticism and instead antagonized me over a minor detail regarding the construction of a dam in the story. I'm not joking. I spent over an hour trying to assert, with facts, historical accounts, engineering knowledge, and actual Earth Pony lore, that a dam could possibly break under record rains due to improper construction without advanced architectural knowledge and safety foresight, two thousands years ago, when the three pony races were still segregated.
Yet it wasn't enough! Instead, they continuously claimed that I 'thought Earth Ponies were dumb'. Even though my own OC is literally an Earth Pony. Right...
Anyway, I need a new, proper editor for the sequel. Right now, I'm working on Chapter 38. I'm missing most of Chapter 9 and all of 10, but I can rewrite those as necessary. I just need someone to reread and spot spelling errors, grammatical mistakes, and finally - repetitive words. Maybe some plot holes.
If you'd like to volunteer, let me know in the comments! If you look like a good fit, we'll work together. ^///^ Also, sorry this blog post came up so quick! I have probably another... 12-22+ Chapters left to write, and any combination of epilogue/alternative endings etc to work on.
Sure. I can do that and if you could look over a prologue I have my novel I am writing? I haven't publish it yet.. Just looking for first impression's all that. So...your chapter's nine and ten? Plus the sequel?

No no no, chapters 1-38, minus chapters 9/10 as they are currently missing.
It's an entire sequel, not Inertia. Inertia is 'okay' enough to accept. I need a full fledged editor to look over the entire sequel to it, 'Verve'.

ya that's cool! Like your writing. Can I do it in stages and get it done over a couple of day's? I am writing my own novel and want to continue on that...

If you're writing your own novel, I'd say focus on that first. But I'll keep you in mind if I don't have anymore volunteers. I preferably want someone who's free, and willing to work with me to help form a list of things that need to be addressed in the story.
