Secondhand Laughter, a new Who We Become story · 9:16pm Jul 30th, 2021
Hey, y'all. Once again, thedarkprep has a new WWB side story (this is the third of her planned four WWB stories). This one's called Secondhand Laughter, and it's extremely good.
"But, Krickis!" you say. "You always say that."
"Well no shit, thedarkprep is a good author." But of the four, this might be my favorite (although the fourth fic isn't finished yet, so there's still time for that one to become the best of them). It's a pretty dark story of mental health struggles, which you know I love, and it hits home in a few ways. This story is a sequel to Prep's previous one, The Opening Act, in which Trixie and Pinkie form a closer bond, and it follows up on that and shows how their relationship develops. As a reminder, this is completely canon to WWB, and I have plans to bring Trixie into my own Life in Everton story, which largely follows Pinkie, Applejack, and Applebloom (though that may not be written any time too soon).
