Happy Birthday, Claire Corlett · 4:14pm Jul 9th, 2021

Today is Claire Corlett's birthday. She is the talented young woman who voiced Sweetie Belle across the show's nine seasons. Interesting, she and Michelle Creber landed their roles when they were still just kids. And I believe I have talked before about how Claire originally wasn't Sweetie Belle's singing voice, but began taking on that role starting in Season 4. I also believe I've mentioned that she is the daughter of Ian James Corlett, who may be best known for being the first voice of adult Goku for the first season of the original Ocean dub of Dragon Ball Z, Cheetor from Transformers: Beast Wars and Transformers: Beast Machines and even had a role in this show as Silver Shill in "Leap of Faith".

Happy birthday, Claire. I hope you are blessed with many great voice acting roles still to come.
