If I had a penny for every time I've said 'when SAPR isn't consuming all of my writing time, I'd like to write a fic in which Cinder and Pyrrha are raised as sisters/write a fic in which Pyrrha may have come back to live or Jaune is deluding himself/finish My Brave Pony: The Heart of the World/reboot my Cinderella fics' I would have a few extra pennies, as they say.
And I've gotten fed up with saying that and I've decided to actually do... some of it, by taking steps to make sure that SAPR isn't consuming all of my writing time. What this means initially is that the number of rewrite updates will be dropping to two a week from three, updating Mondays and Fridays, while the future updates will continue at one every two weeks but moving to Wednesdays.
The rewrites may drop back to one update a week after this, but if so it won't be for long. I just need a bit of time to do other things and I hope you all understand.
I'd love to say I don't get it.... But I get it...

Got to admit,I love my pony fanfics, but im a big fan of RWBY too, and i love thst idea of making Pyrrha and Cinder sisters; would be fascinating to see how Jaune and Emerald react to that development.
Love SAPR and I can't wait for the updates, but anything that helps you keep having fun writing is great.
Had you written it yet ? If so, i would love to see at least sunset still being there as well, her relation with a kinda healthy Cinder would be interesting.
Do you intend to use the sapr version of Pyrrha and her mother ?
If yes, it would be... Weird.
After all, Lady Nikos while would definitly be a better step-mother than Lady Komnenios, she isn't exactly a good mother either.
Honestly, your Cinderella stories are awesome, the only one who would need a reboot would be the latest part once she have her daughters.
The previous ones still had not too much magic, so it wasn't annoying.
However, Cinderella being forced to deal with HRE nobles, especially the Archduchesses sisters is juicy, and far too good of a plot to include magic shenanigans.
Also, in terms of Lore of the Cinderella one, what is Hungary's situation ?

No, I haven't yet, but I'll get to it. The intent would be to write a straight RWBY fic rather than a crossover, so no Sunset.
The plan is also to hew closer to canon with Pyrrha's mom as the RHW.
It wouldn't be as major as the SAPR rewrite, but I think there are still areas that could be tuned up and improved.
Hungary is under Austrian rule as part of the HRE.

Honestly, the previous volumes were not really in need of reboot the only thing who could make it better would be things who are too ruthless for Cinderella, like for example, seeing Lady Tremaine and her bitches daughter kicked out of the manoir would be awesome,but she wouldn't do that.
However, i hope than when Cinderella daughters will be old enough, they will kick them out of their grand-father manoir, them having a bone to pick with the bitches having tried to killed them before their birth as well as killing their mother would be sweet, regardless of Cinderella's opinion.
Also, too big of a reboot would make lost too much times to go back to the moments of the original, while simply reboot "The concert of Europe" without the three witches sisters, circee, and as such the plot of one of the archduchess sisters being a changeling would be nice.

So, I took your advice and have just decided to rewrite the last fic for now, rather than the whole series, which I'll get to eventually but not right now.
The first few chapters will be mostly pretty familiar, just without the Three Sisters plot.
But I kept the opening with the Enchantress visiting the palace because I think that really works on its own.

I would love to see arts of Angelique and Jean once they became nobles, one of Cinderella and Frederica, one of Philippe and his sisters, wether it is when the sisters are babies or a art of 10 years later when they are, well, 10 years old and Philippe is a teenager.
Angelique and Jean is for obvious reasons, because they deserve this after all they did for Cinderella, a art of Cinderella and Frederica is because of the contrast between those two friends, initially, Frederica tried to make Cinderella leave, she is cold, arrogant and can be really cruel, but despite that they are great and sincere (from both sides) friends, and Frederica is (behind Cinderella's back) the fire, steel and poison to Cinderella's velvet.
As for Philippe and his sisters, it's because i really like the idea of the three young royals sharing a art.
Also, i am sure than there is or than there will be rumors than Frederica and Cinderella have a lesbian affair, because not only it is the kind of rumors who would be use against female nobles who aren't liked by others nobles, but because the fact than Frederica, one of the most ruthless Women of Gallia, is ready to engage into a scandals war for Cinderella while at the same time not being that much for a marriage and staying at the palace, there is no ways then no one thought of that.
Also, i am sure than Cinderella, mainly because Frederica is a great friend, would do something like holding her hand during the drawing of a painting of the two, unless frederica is the one showing discomfort.
Seriously though, such a plot would be great, and it would make sense politically, especially since it could send Frederica away, and she is the only one of Cinderella's circle who would use violence for her beloved friend's sake (while everyone else would refuse because they wouldn't want to go behind her back on a vendetta) and the most effective one as well, because, well, she is a princess and a veteran of the mess of the court.

Personally, I'm not a fan of the semi-realist style, it doesn't fit the characters for me. However, I do have some cool fanarts in a style closer to Disney if you're interested.

Regarding lesbian rumors though ? I ask this because i had recently watched the Rasputin series of extra history and learned than Empress Alexandra was victim of that kind of rumors.
I think you should post the Cinderella fanfictions on spacebattles as well.
Also, sharper look and darker colors fit far more Frederica, in this art (it was well drawn, but i am not much of a fan) she looked more like a copy of Cinderella.
Also, i think than a sharper and darker style can help show the contrast of Cinderella appearence compared to others, with the fact than is a far more kind and warm women.

There is a huge difference between semi-realist and a sharper and darker look, and i mostly proposed the later, and only proposed the later the second time.
Especially since those warm colors and soft looks, while they fit really well Cinderella, doesn't fit Frederica at all.
Regarding lesbian rumors, there was those rumors of her sleeping with Jean in the early period, but since the lesbian ones are more scandalous...

Just because a character has a hard edge to them doesn't mean they have to look it, especially since Frederica keeps her 'dark side' well hidden from Cinderella.

I know, but those warm colors aren't flattering at all to Frederica black hairs and green eyes, she doesn't look like her own character.
Again, the art is far more fitting for Cinderella than she.
Also, i always imagined her with a sharper face.

Because it's not a very spacebattles sort of fic, and the audience on SB can be very nitpicky in a way I'm not sure I want to expose those stories to.

Well, it's a awesome story.
But why isn't it on ao3 ? Ao3 is far less nitpicky as far as i had seen while still being far more discussion friendly than Fanfiction.net.
