The Israel/Gaza Situation Has Me Broken

Ignore if you hate this topic. I avoid social media, and I'd rather rant here than the hellhole that is Twitter :rainbowlaugh:

    Already on Step 4

Check this out if you have zero clue what I'm talking about haha.

Did bodyweight squats in front of my physical therapist, and they were good!! Super smooth, great range of motion, and zero tightness for the first few sets. This puts me on step 4 out of 5.

Plan to Cross the Finish Line

Gameplan my physical therapist and I made to overcome my joint issues once and for all. I'd say I'm 90% there, so here is the plan for the last 10%. Primary remaining issue is the left hip weakness causing me to shift much of my weight onto the right hip, which also causes my entire trunk/upper body to twist to compensate for the lean. This messes up my shoulder blade movement as well, leading to

Can Almost See the Light at the End of the Tunnel

After almost a full decade of pain affecting my waking hours, sleep, ability to exercise, and ability to just have fun, I'm almost done!!!!

I define me being done as: Being able to exercise, sleep, stand, sit, lie down, and walk with no pain, instability, or unevenness. It's hard to put a number on a goal like this, but I'd say I'm 85% there.

    Almost Done Beating Genetics

Ughhhhhh why can't I be 100% done, though :raritydespair:

Alright, so despite basically every joint having issues at first, I can minimize the major starting issues to:
    - Right hip tear + instability
    - Left hip tear + instability
    - Left shoulder instability
    - Right shoulder instability

The two bolded ones were the biggest issues. As of now, I have:

I May Have Pushed Myself Too Far · 6:11am Jun 2nd, 2021

*Finishes Legs training session*

*Wife sees me and starts freaking out. Panicking, she tells me to look at my eyes*

*I go to mirror. Realize I look like Omni Man after he got his eyes gouged*

*Realizing I may have burst a blood vessel in both eyes, I tell my wife, "Son, we need to talk."

*Wife continues to panic since she's never seen my eyes anywhere close to this red. I calm her, telling that my eyes will clear up soon. It takes about 30 minutes, but they clear up.*

Considering I still had a headache this morning from my COVID vaccine a week ago, training today wasn't the smartest idea :rainbowlaugh: But no joke, my headache after the training session felt weird. It felt like my face had swelled up, even though there was no swelling at all.

Yes, I know I'm a big dumb-dumb, but considering my EDS took my ability to exercise at all for 7+ years, I definitely have a massive chip on my shoulder. Anything less than absolute annihilation toward my goals cannot be accepted :pinkiecrazy:

Well, at least it's working considering nearly all of my pants, shorts and even boxers are too tight for me now :rainbowlaugh:

Also, have these cute facial expressions I recently drew:

Also, if I do not look as good as Omni Man when I'm a dad, then I will have failed as a father. In support of Pride month, I will declare that Omni Man be looking way too good :rainbowlaugh:

Bro! That level of dedication is totally admirable and kick-ass!

I'll have you know since we last talked, I've been able to start doing small exercises and some other things and I've lost 10 pounds! Getting that much closer to my 200 pound goal. Thanks for the inspiration!

You do realise you're allowed to take a break and relax every once in a while, Deep?

... Why haven't we yet seen an Omni-Man/Invincible MLP crossover yet?

Think Deep, think!!

Rest is not allowed until I look like bearded Omni Man. Any weakness must be cast aside.

That's awesome! Keep that momentum going, dude. I think we all know how annoying difficult it can be to regain momentum when we've lost it.

I'm only speaking up because I don't want you to injure yourself. But if you keep overworking yourself and get hurt, you owe me a point in that competition of ours. Agreed?

5529215

Hurt how? By overworking myself? Deal!

Because remember, due to my EDS, I'm always kinda hurt. :rainbowlaugh: So only acute injuries count.

On the flipside, if I go until the end of Summer (so Sept 22) without overwork injuries, then I get a point.

If I win before then, I'm going to laugh so hard. You realise that, right?
