Chapter 3: A Watch, A Fashionista and a Yard Sale

The night had come and gone after Tom and his friends had saved Fluttershy from Another Kabuto. Today, Tom was being guided to Carousel Boutique, where another friend of the Princess of Friendship lived and worked.
"So, this Rarity pony will make me clothes? But I don't have any of this world's currency-won't that be a problem?" Tom asked.
"Oh no, Rarity is incredibly generous, she loves making clothes, plus I'm sure she'll be ecstatic to design something for a handsome creature like you-" Fluttershy said, but cupped her hands over her mouth after that last part.
'Handsome, huh? Is she crushing on me?' Tom looked at his other companions and saw all of them except Spike also sporting a light blush. 'Are they ALL crushing on me!?'
Tom shook his head rapidly at that thought. 'Nah, not possible...plus, even if that was the case, that's a powder keg waiting to happen- it's not like I can date them all!'

The group had reached the fancy building, but noticed there were all sorts of tables with what appeared to be Rarity's belongings on them. A nearby sign said "Yard Sale".
"Huh, I didn't know Rarity was having a yard sale today. Didn't she just get back from Canterlot yesterday?" Rainbow Dash asked, glancing over the wares.
"Yeah...she did." Starlight added. "Where is she anyway? I can't see her."
Spike looked around, but when he spotted his long time crush, his mouth hung wide open. He tugged on Twilight's sleeve. "I think I found her..."
The Princess and her friends all glanced over to where Spike was pointing, only to see Rarity wearing an extremely strange outfit and practically giving away all her possessions. They all rubbed their eyes to confirm they weren't just seeing things.
"Rarity? Is that...you?" Fluttershy asked.
"Oh, hello Fluttershy, how are you?" Rarity asked back, lacking some of the usual finesse from her speech.
"I'm...fine, but what's going on? Why are you selling all of your stuff?" Fluttershy inquired, concerned about her friend.
Rarity looked at the tables, then back to her friends, beaming. "Well, it's because I'm gonna go on a trip!" She said.
Twilight pulled Tom and Starlight close to her and they huddled. "I have a sneaking suspicion Rarity's found another RideWatch." she whispered. "She may be generous, but even she's not THIS generous."
Tom thought about it for a moment, and then figured out what watch she might have. "She's acting a lot like Kamen Rider OOO right now. He was a wanderer who gave up every selfish desire he ever had." He informed them.
"So now what? We have to snap her out of it!" Starlight hissed.
Tom then thought of something. "Well, it doesn't seem like she's become an Another Rider yet, so maybe she still has the watch on her." They turned towards the suddenly stupidly selfless seamstress. "If that's the case, all we have to do is get the watch and turn it off."

The three, with their plan, approached Rarity.
"Hey, Rarity..." Starlight started. "It's really nice you're doing this, but don't you think it's a bit much?" As Starlight started the conversation, Tom and Twilight crept from behind the seemingly altered unicorn to try to find and grab the Watch.
"Hmm...you may be right...I should also find someone to sell the boutique to!" She clapped and ran off, causing Twilight to stumble and fall into Tom, Tom catching her in his arms.
"Ugh..." Twilight groaned, and then noticed that Tom was holding her. Her face suddenly turned bright red, and pushed him back a bit.
"Oof!" Tom fell back over. 'What'd I do?' He thought.
Starlight signaled them over to her. "She's run off! We have to find her!"
Twilight took Spike in one direction, Tom headed in the other with Starlight.

Meanwhile, Rainbow Dash was clearing away clouds, while trying not to think about what happened with Applejack the other day...or for that matter, trying not to think about Applejack at all...or her firm, toned glutes.
"Gah!" She knocked on her head. "Out of my brain!"
Suddenly, she saw Spike and Twilight frantically running around below her. 'Oh thank Faust, a distraction.' She flew down to her friends. "Hey guys, you lose something?"
Twilight turned to Rainbow Dash. "Rarity."
She sighed. "Another crazy watch?"
"Yep." Dash rolled her eyes.
"Alright, let's go find her before she becomes some sort of spider monster or something." The three continued their search.

Time Turner's clock shop was never overly busy, but he had some work to keep him well financed...among other activities. He was busy working on fixing the recently retrieved Kabuto Watch, as well as looking over a book containing details on Kabuto.
"Huh...great bloody wanker, this Souji fellow seems to be. No wonder dear Fluttershy acted so lofty." He murmured to himself. Suddenly, he heard a ringing.
"Hm? Who could be calling me now?" Time Turner went over to an antique looking phone, the only phone in Equestria. He kept it well hidden, and only a very select few had the number. He picked up the receiver.
"Hello?"
"I would say it's been a long time, my friend, but that really isn't how it works for us, is it?" The voice on the other end replied.
"I knew I'd hear from you sooner or later. This is a right mess, you know." Time Turner said with a slight edge.
"Meh, details. Speaking of, how's the little guy doing there? Getting along with everyone- sorry, everyPONY?" The other speaker chuckled slightly. "I'll never get over how dumb that sounds."
"Well, you'll be pleased to know that he has already gotten the Build and Kabuto watches back, and if all goes well, he'll have OOO back by the end of the day."
"Ah, good! And what about the other boy? Is he still misbehaving?" The other voice said mischeviously.
"Oh, he could definitely do with a good kick in the bum...are you planning to discipline him yourself?" Time Turner asked.
"...nah, I think I'll let the newbie handle it. I mean, he should be able to handle it. Of course, it it comes to that..." The voice said back.
"I'd have some faith in him, you know. He does take after you in good ways."
"Well, I'll let you go for now-keep me posted on the kid's progress, yeah?" The voice asked.
"I'd be a pretty lousy observer if I didn't...right, Kadoya-san?" Time Turner teased.
"Heh, you know how things work all too well, my friend." Kadoya-san replied, as the phone hung up.
Time Turner put the phone back on the hook, and went back to his work.
"I really hope you know what you're doing, Tsukasa."

Tom and Starlight had reached the local park, trying to locate Rarity.
"Why do you think Rarity would come here?" Starlight asked the rider.
"OOO was, for all intents and purposes, homeless, so seeing him taking up residence on a park bench or grass wasn't unusual. If it really is OOO, this is a good place to look." Tom replied.
They looked around and saw Rarity napping on a bench.
"There she is!" Starlight shouted. They tried to approach the sleeping unicorn, but a rain of shots blocked their way. The red and black figure jumped down in front of them.
"Sorry, but I think the prissy unicorn bitch is better like this. Much less of a mouth." The red being snarked.
"Alright, I've had it!" Starlight yelled. "Why are you doing this!? What did we ever do to you!?"
The red figure suddenly stopped. "What...did you do to me...? You...you of all ponies have the NERVE TO ASK THAT NOW!? YOU...!" He aimed his gun right at Starlight, but Tom managed to save her by tackling her to the ground as the angered red figure fired repeatedly.
"MY HOME...MY FAMILY...MY FRIENDS...MY WORLD...THEY'RE ALL GONE! All those people died...because of YOU DAMN PONIES!" The red figure changed his gun back into an axe and began chasing Starlight with it.
"RIDER TIME!" Tom's RideWatch cried out as he quickly transformed, and blocked the angry man's axe with his own sword.
"Who are you?" Tom grunted out, pushing back against their aggressor. He stopped for a moment, and looked to the ground.
"...Geiz. Kamen Rider Geiz. You better remember that name, as it's the name of the one who will get revenge for the Rider World!" He said, as he ran off.
Starlight gazed at Zi-O, thankful he had intervened, but was incredibly unnerved by Geiz's words. "What did we do to make him so hateful...?"
"Great, we lost Rarity again..." Tom said, undoing his transformation. "Probably ran off after Geiz attacked us." He looked at Starlight, who was gazing down at the ground, feeling incredible shock.
Even if she couldn't see his face, his mannerisms, words and especially actions didn't lie- he wanted her DEAD. And it was all because he lost everything.
Just like how she felt when she was exiled from her little community...
"...Starlight? You alright?" Tom asked. She snapped out of her reverie, shaking her head.
"It's nothing. Come on, we need to go find Rarity."

Rarity was staggering down the street, clutching her head and muttering.
"One medal...two medals...three medals..." She murmured as Twilight, Spike and Rainbow Dash had finally caught up to her.
"There you are, Rarity!" She said, but also noticed that she was displaying familiar symptoms.
"Oh no...Dash, you need to go find Tom, now!" She gazed back at her friend, clutching her head in agony. "I think she's about to become an Another Rider!"
Dash saluted and flew off to look for Tom. At that point, Rarity let out a scream as colorful rings started covering her body, and she transformed into a bizarre mix of a hawk, tiger and grasshopper. Twilight quickly attempted to contain her corrupted friend in a magic bubble. Another OOO began clawing at the bubble, with Twilight straining to maintain it.
"R-rainbow...hurry!"

Fluttershy was back at her cottage, wondering if Rarity would be alright. She also thought back to Tom- that brave, heroic human who saved her from becoming a beetle monster. She thought about him and his heroics, his inherent gentleness, his big, strong hands draping around her- but snapped out of it.
"No no, Fluttershy. Don't start thinking naughty thoughts!" She said to herself.
"Hmm...maybe I should take some birdseed to the park to take my mind off this." She said, heading in that direction.

Tom and Starlight managed to gather themselves together, as Rainbow Dash flew up to them.
"Starlight! Tom! Come quick!" Dash yelled.
"Did you find her?" Starlight asked.
"Yeah, but she's already turned into an Another Rider!"
They heard what sounded like a bag dropping behind them. Fluttershy had just arrived, but had overheard.
"Oh no! Rarity...!" She started sobbing. Tom went over and put his hand on her shoulder.
"I'll help her, don't worry." He smiled, causing a blush to appear over the kindly pegasus's face. Tom then turned to Rainbow Dash.
"Rainbow Dash, I need you to go to Time Turner's place and see if he's finished with the Kabuto Watch yet." He said. "Fluttershy, you come with us."
Fluttershy was slightly surprised, but decided to follow to see if she couldn't help her friend. Seeing Tom all suited up didn't hurt either.

Twilight was straining to maintain the magic keeping her corrupted friend in place.
"Twilight!" Starlight cried out, with Tom and Fluttershy following.
"Oh, thank goodness you're here..." She said as she passed out, having used too much magic. At that point, Another OOO could move again, but Tom stepped in the way.
"RIDER TIME!"
Tom transformed and lunged at the monster, but its legs started glowing with a green light, and it jumped in the air.
"Huh?" He said, before his momentum caused him to crash into a wall. "Pain. Pain and humiliation." Tom mumbled, pulling himself out of the Rider-sized hole he had made.
"Right...Batta medal...and the Taka medal gives it super sight, so she'd probably see my attacks coming. And I don't think Build has anything that can counter that either..." He wheezed.
"Hey, Zi-O!" Tom heard Rainbow Dash call out to him. She was holding the Kabuto RideWatch, presumably after it was repaired by Time Turner. "Catch!" She threw the RideWatch to him.
"Of course! She won't be able to react if I'm moving faster than the eye can see!" He stood up and slotted the watch into his belt.
"RIDER TIME! KAMEN RIDER ZI-O! ARMOR TIME! KABUTO!" The belt announced, as a beetle-looking humanoid appeared next to him. Zi-O slapped it on the back, and it broke into armor parts that attached themselves to Zi-O's armor.
"Nice! Let's Clock Up!" Zi-O pressed the button on the Kabuto Watch.
"CLOCK UP TIME!" Suddenly, Zi-O vanished!
"He's gone?" Fluttershy asked, worried.
"Nope..." Starlight said confidently, as Another OOO was knocked down by something no one could see. Zi-O reappeared. "He's just really fast."
Being unable to see what was hitting her, Another OOO began violently thrashing around, breaking everything around her in an attempt to strike the lightspeed Rider. As she did so, she disturbed a nest of birds, that all flew away. It was at this moment that the animal-loving Fluttershy sprang into action.
"YOU BIG BULLY!" Fluttershy screamed at Another OOO, staring at her with a fierce intensity. Somehow, the bestial faux-Rider stopped in her tracks, as if she was scared of the normally timid Pegasus's sudden outburst. "YOU'RE JUST MAKING A BIG MESS!"
Just then, Zi-O got an idea. "Keep doing that, Fluttershy! Make sure she stays in place until I give the signal!" Fluttershy looked over, and nodded. She then turned back to Another OOO, scolding her like she was a misbehaving child throwing a tantrum. Meanwhile, Zi-O was winding up a finisher.
"NOW! BACK UP!" Zi-O yelled, as Fluttershy ducked out of the way.
"RIDER TIME BREAK!" Zi-O's driver announced as the super speed Rider Kick impacted Another OOO's body, causing it to explode and release the fashionable unicorn and the OOO watch.
Undoing the Kabuto Armor, Zi-O took his personal RideWatch and pointed it at the OOO Watch. "O master of the medals, selfless wanderer who reaches out to all in need..." The Zi-O watch shot out a beam, stopping the watch. Zi-O picked it up.
"I'll reach out to you, when I need your help." Tom said, untransforming in the process.
The other ponies came over to Tom, and once again Tom felt the terror of soft marshmellow hell.

The Everfree Forest was not a place most ponies would ever dare to tread, but Geiz was no pony. And he had a certain...benefactor to meet.
"Ugh...damn it, gramps, why do you have to choose the most inconvenient places to meet..." He then saw the one he was looking for, a seemingly normal human in a hat and glasses, wearing a trenchcoat.
"So, that's 3 RideWatches that the boy has managed to steal from you now." The strange man teased.
"Hey, it's not my fault these ponies can't handle a little Rider power. Heck, we saw what happened with that pink one when she picked up that watch I dropped." Geiz retorted.
"Ah, right...she's supposed to be coming back here soon, so keep an eye on her, and try to get those watches back." The man commanded.
"...fine, as long as you hold up your end of the bargain, old man." Geiz turned around, and the man grinned and vanished.

The train had just pulled into Ponyville. Coming off was one of Ponyville's better known residents, the pink party planner known as Pinkie Pie. She had been wearing a big coat, hat and surgical mask however...she was acting unusual.
"Ohhh, I need to get back to Sugarcube Corner before it happens again!" She said, but stopped as her eyes flashed yellow and translucent black.
"KIVA!" Came a voice from her bags. Pinkie strained, but she began to change shape...

A howl came from the platform.
