RIDER TIME extra: Kiva's Day · 12:38pm February 14th
Just as the World of Riders has its own Christmas traditions, so too does it have analogues to other holidays. Kiva's Day is one such example, being the Riders' version of Valentine's Day.
Kiva's story was full of various romantic entanglements, and as a day devoted to love in its myriad forms, it made sense to name it after him.
Like the traditional Valentine's day, many couples go on dates or do other romantic gestures, such as give gifts and such.
There is a superstition that if you are too shy to confess your love to someone, if you have a Kivat deliver a letter or gift to the one you love on your behalf, that person will return your feelings. While this isn't necessarily true, the Kiva family doesn't complain - they charge money for it.
Kiva's Day is only one of the altered holidays present in the world of Riders, but it is one of the earliest in the year.
