I've currently got about 4chapters done on the prequel and 3 done on the sequel.
However, I've currently put that on hold because over the last 2 months I've been compiling a list of things that are wrong with my first story or things I wish I had done better. So right now I'm in the middle of rewriting large sections of "Walking in from the past".
It was something I was going to do eventually, but I felt I needed to do it sooner rather than later since it's going to keep bothering me.
For example, even rereading my own writing, even I'll admit that I'm not really all that captivated until the events of "A date by twilight" in chapter 3 and there's a lot of fluff that's either annoying or excessive in chapter 1 alone. So I'm taking a bit until I get that all sorted out.
Writing is still a very new thing for me. I wasn't all that good at it back in school and only recently realized how rewarding it can feel to get a good job done.
Fortunately, I've found I have a lot easier time writing edits as opposed to fresh pages so it shouldn't take too terribly long to go back over the story.
