Not much new to say, so I'm going to do a little headcannon lore for the Fallout: Equestria Nightstalkers.

There origins mostly unknown, and few ponies even knowing that they didn't even exist before the end of the great was, nightstalkers are one of the many dangers of the wasteland. Found manly in the south Equestria Wastland region's desserts, but can be found in nearly all regions not occupied by more aggressive apex predator's. This hybrid of a rattlesnake and a coyote combines the venomous and heat seeking ability's of a pit viper with the intelligent pack hunting nature of a K-9. What is normally an easy to deal with or avoidable threat is not a highly dangerous predictor that must never be underestimated.

Despite how dangerous they are, nightstalkers will avoided settlements, both their snake and coyote DNA being that of more cautious predictors, choosing to stay in places they can easily hide. Unfortunately with so many abandoned places in the wasteland, ponies often trot into the nightstalker territory unknowingly, only to find out when the sun has already set and they are surrounded. caravans have also fallen prey to the nightstalker, the slow moving ponies seen as easy prey.

The nocturnal nightstalker primarily hunts in packs, their venom meant to weaken the prey so that when the prey can't fight back, they are then dragged away and ripped apart by the pack. This hunting tactic is unsurprisingly effective against ponies, unless they have armor on or have a high resistance to poison. But this tactic also means that the nightstalker is adverse to a direct challenge, and if a pony can keep an eye on them without them able to get behind the pony, they can effectively hold them back till daybreak, where they will end their hunt.

When Nightstalkers live near settlements, it's never outright obvious that their there until a pony actually sees them. It's do to there cautious nature that the Nightstalkers are able to live close to ponies without being seen, with most cases the nightstakers being heard long before being seen. Unfortunately, most ponies who are not experienced with nightstalkers will only hear a rattlesnake or a coyote, only to learn the truth when it's too late.

There are a few known attempts to domesticate the Nightstalker, with mixed results. Often used as a form of guard dog in places no pony should go. Other times, if the pony is willing to spend the caps, extensive training, or cybernetics can turn the Nightstalker into a manageable "Pet". the advantage being that the nightstalker is naturally initiating to ponies, with their bight far worse then their yip.

Several sub-speeches of the nightstalkers exist, often through environmental or magical influences, sometimes even through crossbreeding with other canid animals. One such, and often though a legend, is the invisible Ghost Nightstalker. Though some wastlanders have said the normal nightstalkers sometimes can turn invisible, these ones are said to all posses this ability, and move through settlements as though they are just ghosts. They are mainly attributed to the steeling the kills of hunters, whom cures their ability's to get around traps and open most containers that regular nightstalkers can't. No Ghost Nightstalker has known to have been captured, dead or alive, so they remain as a hunters legend to scare other hunters.
