My New Song Lyric Writing Style

Ominous: What are we even talking about?
    Everybody had messed up already
We threw ourselves down the void without doubt
This discussion is senseless and petty

There's no question to be posed
    We're all evil, case closed
Did you forget everything that we’ve done?

    We all are beyond help
    And that includes myself
And that's why I’ve got no choice but

    I'm Going to Review OCs

Hey there, everyone. After some thinking, I've decided that, instead of trying to get my own OCs reviewed by others, I'm going to try something different and review others' OCs. It's a fun idea and I can't wait to see the OCs that others have made.

If you have any OCs that you'd like to be reviewed, please let me know and I'll tell you about my thoughts on them.

Which Character Do You Relate To The Most and Why?

Hey there, everyone! You know? I've thinking about this idea for quite a while, but was too nervous to show it due to being not wanting to create any spoilers until it was fully realized yet. But thanks to a great friend's advice, I've decided to give it a shot to see your opinions on them so far.

    Here's an Update

I know I promised myself not to reveal anything until it's done, but due to writer's block, perfectionism, and procrastination, I'm having trouble finishing a certain story that needs to get done before any unexpected circumstances and complications. While I'm not going to spoil what I'm working on until it's absolutely done, I need some advice on this predicament that I'm having in order to

Villain Critique: Thanos from MCU · 12:33am Mar 16th, 2021

Hey there, everyone. Sorry I took so long to finally get this out, but here it is. The reason why it took me so long was because I got a little distracted and had to focus on other projects at the time. But now the time has finally come for me to continue with this series.

But before I unveil today's villain, let's go over the typical rules for this series, shall we?

First, if you haven't seen, read, played, or heard of any of these villains and/or the media that they appear in, there will be spoilers. You have been warned. Also, keep in mind that I haven't seen, heard of, and/or known a lot about every villain out there, so if you have a villain that you want to show me and I haven't known about him or her yet, please be sure to lend me some information through either reply or via PM.

Second, This is all just my personal opinion and you don't have to agree with me if you don't want to. Just please be nice, constructive, and considerate, especially when telling me why you disagree in the comments down below or via PM.

And finally, I don't just do movie or cartoon villains. I also do villains from video games, comics, television, and even fan-made OCs.

Anyway, let's get started with one of the most powerful and most popular villains in the Marvel Cinematic Universe: Thanos.

Now, like the Star Wars Universe, I haven't actually watched the respective movies of Infinity War or Endgame. However, I have seen, heard of, and watched a lot about Thanos from videos, reviews, and his own wiki page and from what I can tell, he's a very well-written character and villain. So, here's what I like about him:

  1. Design(s): His design is very imposing, intimidating, and greatly detailed, but not to the point where he's too scary or hard to look at. He also looks great and powerful with his iconic Infinity Gauntlet and Infinity Stones. He's so amazing-looking and distinct that you can tell who he is and/or what he's going to be based on his design alone, which is what a great design (character or not) needs to do.
  2. Personality: His personality is well-written as well. Despite his intimidating, serious, and ruthless demeanor, you can still see a very sympathetic side to him if you got to know him more in spite of his actions. His flaws and strength are well-defined and make him a three-dimensional and realistic character as he thinks that his actions will be the only salvation for the universe in spite of what others think about it. He's also very honorable and willing to accept his death with dignity once his job was done.
  3. Backstory: His backstory is very tragic and heart-breaking. It shows that why he is the way that he is in a very poignant and heart-wrenching way. His planet's entire population (minus himself) gets destroyed by over-population, despite his warnings, and he wants to prevent that from happening to the rest of the universe by any means necessary, even if it means sacrificing the one person that he truly loves and cares about, which breaks both his heart and possibly ours as well. The way in which it's presented and built upon makes it a very sad and tragic backstory. Probably one of the most tragic and sympathetic backstories in recent years.
  4. Abilities: Even without the Infinity Gauntlet, he's still a very powerful figure in his own right. He has super strength, speed, durability, and longevity. But once he gets the Infinity Gauntlet and all of the Infinity Stones, however, he becomes a force to be reckon with. He's able to control space, time, life, and even reality itself with just a literal snap of his fingers.
  5. Weaknesses: Despite all this power and strength, Thanos does have his weaknesses. His first weakness, as he says himself, is decapitation. And his second weakness is the Infinity Gauntlet itself as after he used all six stones twice, he nearly died and left in a weakened state. His former weakness is his arrogance, which he had better control of in 2018.
  6. Character Arc/Development: Besides Miscellaneous, this is the one category that I don't know too much about for Thanos. However, he's still a well-developed and well-built-up character for not only the movies he appeared in, but possibly the entire Marvel Universe as a whole.
  7. Miscellaneous: I still don't know that much about him in this category. Sorry.
  8. Overall: Thanos has really proven his status as one of the most powerful and popular villains in the MCU, if not of all time. He really lived up to the hype that was built-up for him for so long and I can't wait to see what the future movies have for not only him, but other villains as well, for better or worse.

Now, if you have a favorite villain (movies, cartoons, video games, etc) that you want me to critique, let me know either in the comments down below or via PM. Also, be sure to give me some information of your villain if I don't know that much about them.

What do you think of both this critique and this villain? Do you like them both? If so, why or why not? Please let me know.

Have a fantastic day.
