Okay I understand that your anxious to see me continue my work, but if you keep hounding me like this, it's just not gonna let me continue my work. I have some stuff going on in my life like with what happened in Texas a few days ago with the sudden snow storm going off. So I'm asking you all to try to have patience and let me deal with what's going on so I can work.
Honestly, i never understood why people keep asking when everyone has real life to deal with. No one ever doesn't have to worry about the real world. Like for myself i have college classes and other responsibilities. Other people may also have jobs.
I will keep doing my best to be patient.

Would be ok if I could say about as to why?
I'm very sorry if you feel bothered by my comments and message. As I said before, I completely understand that you have a life outside of this account, and I assure you that I've been as patient as possible for your next update, whenever you're ready to return to FiMFiction.
P.S.: I hope you and your family are coping well after the Texan flash blizzard. It's bad enough that the local power stations were ill-prepared for such phenomena.

its just people have real life stuff that sometimes gets in the way of updating stories on this site. Not everyone has a lot of free time, so being impatient doesnt help anyone.

I completely understand. I myself and probably others can relate and know that if we keep on asking to complete this or that does not really help but cause problems.
I believe the probable issue is that if a story gets on hold for long while, it may get forgotten and then joins the pile of unfinished stories since the writer would probably leave the site without notice. And Sadly if people are doing that, it may just happen.

That's been one of my main concerns with stories that don't get updated for months, or even years. I didn't mean to annoy SonicBlitz over them.

We all have done the same thing, and I probably know that most of us regret it. But does brings up a couple of issues, what would be the right way to ask if there is an update on the story, without being a bother? and if we don't ask for an update on a story would they think the story is a dud or becomes forgotten with all the other stories coming in.

Could I get your thoughts about this also? Thank you

It's kind of a dilemma when you think about it. You want assurance that the stories will eventually continue, but you feel like it would be harassment if you ask questions.
