Can't use Discord · 2:45pm March 8th
Okay, so I have a bit of a problem. I won't be able to use discord for a while. Last night a writer friend of mine messaged me from there last night of a mistake he made on it that led to several false reports made to my account to where I can't use it at the moment. I was talking with a moderator ther as well who said that they look over my account to see if the reports were false. I followed his instructions and how I can't lig into my account anymore. Not sure what to do at the moment either.

I think that was a scam.
As for your friend, he must have got hacked which is why he told that stuff to you. It was a asshole hacker.
Did your friend linked you to that moderator?
If so, then that was definitely a trap.

I dealt with it often. Thankfully, I talked to some friends before I clicked on the link the first time. But yeah, you get a message from someone saying they accidentally reported you and that you need to do some stuff to fix it. It's all just a scam though.

Pretty much. Fucking scammer got you dude. So unless you had Two factor on, they have likely locked out our completely as they have changed both your password and Email by now.

Like I said, unless you have two factor authentication on your pretty much locked out for good. If you do have it on, and haven't deleted the number generator that you need to login, you should be able to request a password change. Otherwise you're screwed and need to make a new account.
Make sure to open a ticket as soon as possible and when you get it back after all is said and done set up two factor to Prevent this.

Okay, so I think I fell for a fishing scam as I was charged 220 dollars to try and reactivate my account from some false billing charge and now I hardly have anything left.

Okay did you use the ticket system only to get support or something else? you should have to pay no one anything to get your account back. If you used a credit card on the scam you need to tell your credit card company by only calling the number on the back of your actual credit card not a number off Google as it could be a fake one)

Yeah, you did. The official Discord support system is just as free as the account, apps, and website. Report the fraud on your card or account ONLY using the number provided ON THE CARD ITSELF. It's the same number you had to use to activate it, so no Googling it. So many fraudulent numbers and websites created by Indian scammers are out there right now.
