Making progress, little by little. · 1:18am Feb 7th, 2021
The second chapter for Tales from a Double Date currently sits at about 3.2 thousand words. I'm honestly hoping that progress will go much faster on the story once I get through this chapter, but we'll see what happens when it happens.
Is it wrong that I'm tempted to work on another story in the meantime? Just take a break on this one, type out a chunk for another, later entry in the Quiververse? I did that with New Horizon, worked on other stories when my creative impulses went elsewhere, but I really don't want to repeat that here.
As always, progress is good. But of course, don't push yourself too hard. We'll be here in the meantime. ^_^
I don't consider it wrong. Lord knows I deal with having ideas and thoughts about other stories all the time. I guess what it really comes down to is whether or not you can get back to the original story when you've had the time away from it. Because... well, personally, that's something that *I* really have trouble with.

Well, like I said, I've done it before. It probably varies from circumstance to circumstance, though...and something tells me mine aren't all that optimal.
Still, I won't deny there are parts of future stories that I'm itching to write right now.
