A week ago I announced I had about half a dozen fics involving releasing Cozy Glow from her stony confinement. This wasn't one of them. This idea came to me out of nowhere yesterday morning, and here we are. I haven't made much new progress on any of the others, so instead have a new one that just popped up from scratch. One of two new fics I started this past week (the other has nothing to do with Cozy Glow, I swear).

The concept was a simple one: how could Cozy Glow use her natural talents effectively for good instead of evil? She's still manipulating ponies, but now she's manipulating them for their own benefit, instead of hers.

Luster Dawn is so...thrilled to be Cozy Glow's current parole officer guardian. These things tend to happen when you're a princess' personal student. Friendship missions, gotta love 'em.

Sweetcream Scoops & Apple Cinnamon are from the toy line (both were issued as blind bags). Sweetcream's appeared in the comics, while Apple Cinnamon is an Apple Family background pony.

One of the nice things about writing Cozy Glow is she's more or less a blank canvas. We know she's evil, manipulative, smart, and prone to angry outbursts when she doesn't get her way. We also know her weapons of choice are adorableness and her silver tongue.
But what makes her tick? That's up to us to decide, and this story represents yet another take on her character from me.

Hm. Bit busy (and tired) at the moment (and there might be a fair amount of background needed for these fragments (and I've got some fragments for other stories in the same... family of universes, I suppose one might say, too)), but I'll try to keep the offer in mind; thank you for it. :)
(No promises on having something for you to read on it one day, though, sorry. Buuut we'll see, and I think you've at least significantly increased the probability even if it was relative to a low bar. :))

One of my strengths as a writer is making things logical. I originally got into writing to fix plot holes, and taking pieces from different puzzles and making them fit together is the very essence of what drives me as a writer.
Believe me, I understand about life interfering. I like to joke that life is that thing preventing me from writing more horse words.
