It's the beginning of a new semester and I have stuff you should know! · 9:01am Jan 4th, 2021
Welcome to 2021! 2020 was hell but for all of us that survived, we came out stronger, better and probably smarter given all the reading we probably did! I honestly don't think a whole lot changed for me except that I no longer give two flips about peoples personal opinions about me and that I am just going to live how I want to live. Simple and not all that surprising. 2020 sucked and that's what I got out of it.
UPDATE #1: School
My new semester starts today and I just got all my schedules. Turns out I have a LOT of control over my schedule this semester which is a positive because that means I can do, say, all my class work two days out of the week and work on other projects the other 5 days (This includes tears). It would also mean that doing shoots will be so much easier and I can sleep. However, it's a negative because I HATE online classes. Film school online SUCKS.
Further updates on my schedule will be posted when I have them. There is a bunch of stuff I want to do in 2021.
UPDATE #2: Computer and Software Upgrades
I got a brand new PC on the last day of 2020 and I am SO happy. Better processing, 2 monitors, webcam, better graphics AND it won't overheat like my laptop. It's my first desktop and the first time I have purchased my own computer. My laptop was a gift and the rest of my computers have always been hand-me-downs. This means my film stuff will go incredibly well and more smoothly along with writing stuff. No more overheating
When I got the new PC I also got a new mic that comes with a mic arm and a better headset which has nothing to do with writing stuff but I am excited!
I still use Microsoft Word and/or Docs to write but I have added Final Draft to my writing software because I am going to start building my screen writing portfolio. I so plan to use scenes from Scars and Tears for some of this. My Uncle has gifted me a year subscription to masterclass so my skills should also get an upgrade over the next year.
UPDATE #3: 2021 goals
I want to finish Tears by the end of 2021. So I need to become more organized and have writing time in my actual schedule. This also means I have to stop staying up til 6 and waking up at 2pm. So that is step 1. I will have coffee more readily at my my disposal in the very near future (My mom got me a keurig)
Now, I also want to polish up Tears and Scars but that will be after tears is done if I decide to do it. This brings me to my last point
UPDATE #4: Future
I love writing. You all know that and I will constantly read your fics and love every minute of it. However, this is news that is REALLY hard for me to put forward because I appreciate all of you and I love the fact that you enjoyed my writing and I enjoyed a lot of yours. Ugh, I hate this because it's not happening...like, tomorrow or next month.
*sigh* Okay. After Tears is finished, I am going to stop posting fanfiction, at least for the foreseeable future. I have 3 Scripts and 2 series that I want to write and have been working on when I know I should be writing Tears. I've come to a point in my life where I'm so busy all the time that I want to work on projects that I can use to make a name for myself in my career.
Now, this shouldn't come to that big of a surprise to most of you. Many of you have been following me since Scars of Our Past and the beginning of Tears of Sunlight. Over the last...almost 2 years, you can see my schedule filling up just by my blog posts and updates.
I have been writing fanfiction since I was 16. Not all of it got posted but I have been writing it. That's almost 7 years and that may not seem like a lot but it had been a big part of my life when I needed it most and I appreciate all of the support I've gotten and life-long friends I've made like SoloBrony, AliceLiz, BChunter, Nyronus, Pwnego and more but I don't feel like listing them ALL or we'll be here all day for a post that is already way too long.
I guess my wanting to finish Tears how I planned is my gift to you guys for just being there and sticking with me.
I will release an update soon on my plan of action going forward.

As for stopping with the fanfiction if it helped you in the past one shots may help in the future (which ever fandom) but do what you need to do.

I agree you have to work on things for yourself to be happy and fulfilled. I understand the mentality of not caring what others think anymore Im a transwoman so I get it. It will be sad to see you go but at least you leave on your own terms right. I would like to be your friend but I understand if you can't. I look forward to the future of years.
