Technically speaking this was made awhile ago but I’m still happy with his design.
His personality is mischievous, a bit of a thief, adores shiny things, clever, master of disguise and acting, and loving towards his family (closest to his father).
How screwball and mothball are as parents -
Screwball: kind of overprotective and wanted to homeschool her son at first to keep him from being bullied. She wants the absolute best for her son and is often stressed about him being kept from opportunities due to his heritage (Pony/Draconequus/Changeling). Her overprotectiveness of her son is most likely a result of her father’s parenting, extremely overprotective and constantly monitoring her every move. Is told by mothball to calm down almost daily
“why aren’t you panicking?!”
“Because, sweetness, I’m a sane individual, he’s literally just walking to school??”
Mothball: extremely loving towards his son (damn his Changeling fatherly instincts) and allows him to do whatever as long as it isn’t drugs or inappropriate things in the house. This leniency is due to the way he was raised, picture a Hispanic mother and an Asian father that’s also a drill sergeant raising you, he and his siblings were treated like cadets and because of this he was extremely stressed and anxious as a child (he really didn’t want that for his kid). He also doesn’t overreact to the things that a parent should overreact to
“why should we be worried?”
“Because our son is friends with the local drug dealer!”
“Well I can’t judge his life choices.”
Oh and his cutie Mark is based on Hermes’ staff, the Caduceus
Nice work! I really like the purple and green in the mane, and nice job incorporating Greek mythology into the cutie mark!
