So I mentioned that mothball was going to be canon in this universe, welp this is how in the FARRR future of this universe.

I forgot about this cute drawing I did a couple months ago!! But yeah in this universe Mothball is their youngest child and he was born by hatching out of an egg, clearly scaring his mother. James is pretty chill tho
I’ve changed their designs a bit, mainly just colors and Lily’s hairstyle.
I imagine that James’ fatherly instincts kick in a lot when it comes to his grub baby, since he’s the only one of their children to look like a changeling. This includes a lot of tummy kisses, secretly babying him, and almost crying every time he sees him crawl across the floor. It doesn’t help that baby mothball had a bad habit of keeping his tiny slit tongue sticking out all the time, it makes James die inside everytime he glances over at him.
He was a spoiled grub as James recalls to their family every Hearths Warming since he only fed on the fatherly love from his father, he refused solid food and milk until he was a toddler.

Is it just me, or does that grub baby have a loaded diaper?
Also, did you use Ibis Paint X?

I do use it (a curse and a blessing) and that’s just how grub babies look, I imagine they take a long time to walk with their little developing bodies (lots of crawling and rolling around)

I use Ibis Paint X too. Whether it’s for attempting to do digital art (keyword being attempting) or sketching stuff out to do vectors (I use Vectornator X for those)
