I need some help with something. I'm debating on changing 'A hero's Rise' from a Mayan test to a displaced story.
And before anyone comments saying "I tHoUgHt It WaS a DiSpLaCeD sToRy?" No, it wasn't.
It was an 'HIE with powers' story and a 'Mayan test' story. (Mayan test being a small thing in 2012, 2-3 years before displaced started)
Don't worry updates will still happen. I'm working on chapter 2 at my own so I don't lose interest or simply have what Alexis 10 happen where I work too hard and lose all motivation due to expectations. I'm also working on another story. one without Ben 10 as I need a slight break from that.
But back on point should I keep going with the direction I currently am going or redirect it towards displaced territory?

Could use some work on the writing as in helping explain everything in seamless manner but besides that it's perfect, good grammar as far as I can see, it tells when it needs to tell and all feels necessary. This is unrelated but could I have some help, I'm new to Fimficton and was wondering if people can see my story since at the Bottom of the first chapter it says how Many people have viewed it but at the top of the story it says waiting to be approved. So did I do something wrong,do I have to wait for something or what?

Yes, there is. Mayan tests require the Human to survive the end of the world on December 21st, 2012 without being violent. Whereas displaced is basically "I bought this thing and now I'm magic in Equestria"

What you mentioned is the most conmen way to become displaced but it's not the ONLY way to become displaced.
In Deltorix's New dragon in town the MC died saving a girl and got revived in Equestria as a dragon. He didn't become a displaced until he decided to made a token.
In R-E-X's The Dark One Has Risen the MC was displaced when he received a letter from the Merchant.
What I am saying is that this story can be both a Mayan tests story and a displaced story. This can happen in one of two ways without changing the beginning.
1. He hade read displaced stories before the Mayan test and just decides to make a token.
2. He finds a token. Standard shenanigans happen.
