Merry Christmas and Happy Hearth's Warming to everyone!

A quick follow-up to last week's story. Minty had mentioned she was throwing a Christmas party, so why not continue the adventures a little bit?

So in the canon of the stories in the Car Wash series (Car Wash, Ponies, Horses, & Mustangs, Oh My, Filly Cheesesteaks, Trunk-Or-Treat, Birthday Blues, and now A Very Minty Christmas Party), Minty left Equestria after accidently ruining Ponyville's Hearth's Warming tradition (see below). The inspiration is definitely from the G3 special, A Very Minty Christmas, but without the happy ending (when Pinkie Pie tells her to 'leave town' she takes it seriously before Pinkie can clarify what she meant; they've since reconnected and Minty knows she's welcome to come back to Ponyville any time, but chooses not to). She's on Earth now, and couldn't be happier, so she got a happy ending regardless. Most of her friends came with her, and now she's made new ones too.

While we really did get a foot of snow last week (which is almost entirely melted now!), the cover image is actually from 2016.

Razzaroo's car is a 1982 Mustang, which I've tweaked to have Razz's cutie mark between the taillight and license plate, though it's not recognizable at that size. So here it is blown up:

This 1982 Mustang has a red interior, red vinyl top, and an inline six motor with a whopping 85 horsepower (note that every engine available in the Mustang II had more horsepower than this; that's right, the Mustang II isn't the low point point of Mustang production...).

The third generation of Mustang (Foxbody) is also the least popular with ponies as starting in 1983 there were no* galloping ponies on the car until the fourth generation debuted in 1994. However, the 1979-1982 models (like the one pictured) had a pony hood ornament, a round medallion on the hood instead of galloping across the grill. For ponies owning a third generation Mustang, getting an early example is a must (though many have also retro-fitted galloping ponies to their cars' grills).

*With the exceptions of the 1984 GT350 and 1993 Cobra R.

Definitely Dinosaurs was a toyline made by Playskool in the 1980s and 1990s: https://dinopedia.fandom.com/wiki/Definitely_Dinosaurs

I assume everyone is familiar with Jurassic Park. The novel was published thirty years ago and the movies have been massive hits. As with any franchise that achieves this level of popularity, there were (and still are) plenty of toys available. Kenner had the original rights, and then when Hasbro snatched them up, Hasbro produced the JP toys for years. Now Mattel has the license to make their toys.

Likewise, I assume everyone is familiar with the Easy-Bake Oven.

I started with the cover image at about 2PM today and started writing the story at about 4PM. Less than four hours later, this is the result. I'm not the fastest writer in the world, but inspiration hit when I woke up this morning and didn't leave me a whole lot of time to write this. :raritywink:

Another great entry into your universe.

Merry Christmas and Happy Hearth's Warming to you too, and thanks! :)

...Oh, that's a sad backstory, though. Well, I'm glad it worked out.

And thanks as usual for the additional information, and nice pony pictures. :)
