The renowned writer darf & I wrote a short story together:

Many thanks to Pridark for the cover-art & Admiral Biscuit for his advice regarding Scenes 2 & 5.
It sports an "M for Mature" rating due to its second chapter, but I structured the short story so that readers repulsed by NSFW MLP content can skip that explicit scene & the plot still makes sense; the second chapter is also cleared marked as "[NSFW]".
darf & I started that fic in late August, though I brainstormed different aspects of it for over a month before then. We finalized it in late November.
In chronological order:
1) I wrote Scene 2 &, then, Scene 5. Next, Admiral Biscuit provided advice that I incorporated into the second drafts of both Scene 2 & Scene 5.
2) darf wrote the first draft of Scene 3 before I wrote the second draft of Scene 3.
3) darf wrote the first draft of Scene 1, after which I wrote the second draft of Scene 1.
4) darf wrote the first draft of Scene 4 before I wrote the second draft of Scene 4.
5) darf wrote the first drafts of the short description & long description; I wrote the second drafts of those two.
The idea of several short stories all from the same universe intrigues me; so, I planned for this to serve as the first of multiple interconnected narratives. Two premises for side-stories in this world already started congealing in my mind, & I contacted a pair of authors whom I respect about working on them. "Riskyverse" sounds like a suitable name for this fictional timeline: that title pays homage to the initial fic; plus, the other stories also involve taboo activities.
Currently, I search for an artist available to commission cover-art for one of those tales, since another illustrator already works on a piece for the other. If any of you have recommendations for artists to contact about that, I would appreciate such; please don't submit suggestions for artists who cannot start working on the commission for more than three months. 
I nearly forgot to mention something else regarding that initial short story: it includes a literary treasure-hunt with a $200 USD cash-reward as an incentive for readers to examine the two SFW chapters more closely & dissect them, with the aim of prolonging interest in the piece.
"Here's a challenge for anyone interested: there's a total of nine intentional references in this short story (to cinema/television series, literature, memes, political philosophies, video-games); for the first person to find & list all nine, I'll send you $200 USD (via PayPal)." -Miss Direction
Readers already found 7 of the 9 references & publicly posted them; so, there's not much left to find, but it's an "all or nothing" deal so whoever posts all nine references receives the reward. 
That said, one user sent me a PM containing the eighth reference, & someone in the comments of "Risqué Risks" was "on fire!" with regards to how close that person came to identifying the ninth.

I just happened across this story and really enjoyed the characters and setup, only to find there's nothing more to read :c
