Holy cow, featured and a hundred likes? I've never had a story get this much attention, thanks everyone!
Q: Will Exploring the Castle get a sequel?
A: Yes! Henry's adventures aren't over yet, however I still need to plan out the sequel, as well as where the series will go from here. I don't know if the sequel will be another CYOA type story or not though.
Q: Will we see any other characters from The Henry Stickmin Collection?
A: Yes, specifically The Toppats! I'm planning out the events of a multi-chapter fanfiction involving the Toppat airship crashing into a pony's house and the events that happen while the pony helps the Toppats, making her their first Equestrian recruit. I also want Charles to show up in the AU as well, but I'm still working out where to send him and what his story would be.
What to Expect
1. Misty Morals, a story about a pony finding her place in the Toppat Clan, dealing with her own limitations and helping the Toppats rise to infamy.
2. The sequel to Exploring the Castle.
3. Whatever the heck I end up doing for Charles' story.
4. I dunno? A fic bringing them all together?
I came up with Exploring the Castle first, followed by a very rough idea for a sequel, then an idea of what Misty Morals could be and didn't think any further beyond that. I started this AU as something fun because this is the only site I'm active on and I wanted to write Henry Stickmin fanfiction.
So here we are.
New fics and updates will be random, I'm not well and restricted to using my PS4 to write as i can't hunch over a keyboard for very long. I don't have the motivation to write most days, so you might be waiting until I finally get a laptop to see the next entry in the series, I don't know, we'll see. I am planning Misty Morals chapter-by-chapter before I start writing, it's slow going but it is cathartic just jotting down notes. It'll have a different tone, more of a serious fic but hey, I'm writing for fun.

For Charles, perhaps he could have been helping the Government testing some new portal technology in his chopper and ends up in Ponyville. While there, he ends up befriending Muffins and sharing an adventure with Lyra and Bon Bon against your choice of one of the Everfree's monsters. It could be called "Helping the Locals".

The broken teleporter doesn't just send Henry to Equestria, other characters are pulled along as well, including Charles and the Toppats.
I want to avoid the X character is sent to Ponyville trope a lot of other fics use.
